Matt Damon *was* in Interstellar. The scout astronaut that was marooned on the planet and lied about the conditions so people would come (and he wouldn't be alone}
For this application, when using low-res images, I usually go for a duotone effect or something and it really brings the quality of the image back up for printing. For digital is not an issue.
Cool. I love minimalist movie posters and you did a great job. Thank you kindly for the poster download. Memento, Inception or one of the Batman films seem like obvious choices to add to your Nolan collection. Might as well do something that benefits you as well.
Lucy Brown: "Spending 24/7 in my room gets a bit grating." Also Lucy Brown: "On my days off, I like to spend more time in my room designing posters." Hahaha. I sure hope Lucy knows she's allowed to go outside even when no video shooting is involved :-).
This is awesome. Love your take on these movie posters. Nice design elements! Would love to see a design from you for like, say, "The Fifth Element" and/or "Leon: The Professional". Would buy it from your future etsy store ;).
Thanks for this video, I like your posters and will have a go myself. I've been wondering how to do some posters for my business to brighten up my stall and this is so helpful.
Whew! Chris Nolan.....Cillian Murphy.....Robert Downey Jr.....Matt Damon.....Emily Blunt....all cast and crew, Oppenheimer.....shall be regarded at a masterpiece of achievement! I have so far enjoyed being lost in that world 10 times, Your artistry inspires....in all it's forms.
Get Affinity. It's on sale now. Adobe, who make photoshop, is doing some crazy things with their terms and conditions claiming the licensing rights to peoples' work. They're looking at everything also. It's a huge scandal this month.
You're right - oh my gosh, it's Jets Overhead here, bit noisy. Disregard my first two sentences. Vistaprint is a good option: l don't like the adventure movie style of the Etsy print. The clown thing is funny, because it would take a while to get it, and then you couldn't unsee it . 😊
The thing with it being a hobby and something for yourself is you're the only one who has to like it. I do like the simpler design compared to the official one
That's great! I also wanted to see if you have the Interstellar poster available so I can print it. Interstellar is one of my most favorite movie and I would LOVE to hang it up in my work/bedroom. Thanks!
On my channel is a trailer for a film called "Death F*^@". I'd be tickled bright pink if you could find time to make a poster for it. Also thank you very much as I find your videos to be very engaging yet calming, and I'd love to see a 'day in the life' where you just go about your daily chores. Thank you again, and please keep up the good work.
Based on the number of times I've seen some movies, "The Day After Tomorrow" and "National Treasure", will come out on top of the list. Any chance of getting a link to the Interstellar poster imaqe?
So many shattered copyright infrigments on this one, I cant even stop laughing about it! Its a cool looking poster Lucy, keep up the photoshopping! As someone who's been 'shopping since '99 - You got some skills! Also, a side note to everyone watching this, take caution - you cant just steal photos from the internet and do your own poster... Even for your own consumption. It goes against most rules when it comes to ownership of said photos - But whatever, its for a good video! 😇✌
If your spending all your time in your room, you should be getting out and exercising before you make my mistake and lose all your strength in your legs so you can't walk No! What your going to do is take a bean (leaf) out of the James Hoffman RU-vid channel where he got trainwell to sponsor an add read and he used them to get himself the extenal structure that he needed to get fit Hope that helps
Oppenheimer is a strange but good movie. I have it on bluray. It´s hard to be perfect in Photoshop, but you are doing alright. Someone is always better.. 🙂
Great video Lucy. Just goes to show what can be achieved with a little time and effort, the results are amazing, cost effective and personal and thereby more rewarding! Love it
A fine job! Good ol' Photoshop. I used it daily for years but not anymore. I don't even have a recent version. I bought PS7 many years ago and it still runs on Win 11 today.
