I usually add potatoes to thicken the sauce. Also, you could add coconut milk as a substitute if you want. =)

Looks so good, we don't have Vermont curry nor do we have aisian markets here (East Coast, we live off grid, near Canada boarders) but I think I can make my own curry, so I am going to give this a try, although we don't have fresh seafood up here either but I can use chicken or pork or beef, I will have to see what my husband would like to try. Thanks for cooking for us love it.

I add potatoes, carrots, and onions to mine with either beef, chicken, or pork and coconut milk if I want it creamy. I use golden curry though and hot. I'll have to try it with shrimp looks so good.

Raina chew and blow at the same time. Blow the food put it in your mouth open a little and hahaha continue chewing. That is the best way to do it when food is hot.

Also... this looks sooooooo amazing!!!!!!!!! I always buy frozen shrimp... I really need to go to a local market and buy some real fresh shrimp.. nothing like some 🍤 and 🧄 with 🍚 and that curry!!! I've never actually used sesame seed oil for cooking. I use it as a condiment. Watching you pour the sesame seed oil on the fryer reminded me that this is a cooking oil as well. LOL

Just want to make a comment because I'm a chef if you would have cooked your shrimp in 2 batches sometimes I noticed that you overcrowd your pan when you're cooking you wanted to sear r on the outside instead of steaming
