I saw I Chang & Jimmy with Puan Ridza and Joe at La Cucur KLCC 3 weeks ago. Got the opportunity to take picture with IChang & Jimmy, thanks to Puan Ridza and Joe for asking me to go in and take picture with them. Loves you guys❤️
This is exactly what we need in this crazy chaotic world… social harmony of valuing and expressing love, generosity, peace and respect upon others in any particular society regardless of their race, religion, ethnicity and social status. Shoutout to iChang & Jimmy 💝 with big warm welcome to Malaysia 🇲🇾
the passion is incredible, u even wash the whole kitchen tool with clay soap to guarantee everything is halal, it make me want to cry, excellent work ichang and jimmy
Ichang and jimmy.. thank you so much for your sensitive and kind gesture to ensure your equipment and food totally halal for muslim to eat. You both are so kind ❤️
Now I believe iChang's cooking is very sedap. Youve got endorsement from a malay grandmother. That durian gravy is my favourite. If you run out of pulut, you can always eat with normal white bread and its still delicious.
I'M NOT CRYING. YOU'RE CRYING 😭😭😭❤️ This is my first time watching your channel, and I daresay I am your superfan now! The way you cleaned the utensils, the dedication to cooking such a difficult dish like sambal and the genuine mutual love you have for one another - between you and Ridza, you and her family. My heart might just implode with all the love. We need more of this in such a divided world today 😭❤️
I love how iChang & Jimmy really concern about cleanliness. They even used Taharah Soap prior to cooking.Bgi yg mgkin x tahu, Sabun Taharah ni untuk kegunaan sertu/samak & dan telah diperakui harus untuk digunakan. So mmg iChang & Jimmy peka dgn keperluan kebersihan & kesucian dlm menyediakan makanan yg benar2 halal. Kudos to both of u..They are so lucky to have meet u & taste your legendary Nasi Lemak.Btw, judging from this video, I think the nenek might be around my age.😂😂
I really respect your efforts taharah your utensils before cooking , you are the best example of real travelers and expats who are willing to adapt local culture , have a nice day 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Hi ichang..im aini from bilisco sdn bhd..tq so much review our product ikan bilis from bilisco product...im so proud seeing our product in your channel..thank both of you so kind..nice to meet both of you.😍😍😍
i love how you are so sensitive and considerate of us muslims and take the time to sertu the utensil.. since they are provided by the apartment we won't know who have use them and if they use it for non halal.. but what u did was great.. thanks.. always support you guy.. haiya.. just settle in Malaysia la... 😊 side note : ichang wearing baju kelawar in daylight.. we usually wear baju kelawar when we go to sleep..
Congrats iChang and Jimmy you have Malaysian grandmother. IChang your grandma said"Peluk(hug) cucu (grandchild)." Cucu can be used for both granddaughter and grandson. Now that you have an adopted family in Malaysia, you should learn more malay language so that you can communicate with your grandma and the rest of her family.
Perfect sambal. You have mastered it to the next level using the layering techniques. Most people will add everything together and cook it until "pecah minyak". But you layered it first with "onion sauce" and cook it over a low heat until the sweetness come out before you add the "cili kisar" (blended chillies) and then layered it again with belacan, salt, gula melaka and sliced onions for added texture and natural sweetness to your sambal! The combination of two types of dried chillies is ingenious! From now on I too will use your dried chilli combo if I'm making sambal! Thank you iChang and Jimmy. Sempurna!
Masak sampai pecah minyak is usually fast and not time consuming which is why most people cook sambal like that But yes, layered technique in cooking sambal is the true way in cooking sambal
Oh wow. First time I see the durian dessert. Looks so good. And that hug is priceless. She said new grand daughter.. I as Malaysian also didn’t know about the soap thing until I read the comments. New stuff I learned today. 😀😀😀
Good people deserves other good people. It doesn't matter what race we are from. IChang and Jimmy, you're now a Malaysian family. Sincerely from Singapore 🇸🇬.
You guys has never failed to mesmerised and impressed us as Malaysian.. Loving your sincerity and humbleness.. P/s: Sadly the video too short 😭 was hoping you guys to upload video more longer..😂
Thank you iChang and Jimmy. Both of you touched my heart by purify all the kitchen equipments before start cooking. I dont know how you know that but what you guys doing is so noble and respectful. Pray for both of you a good health and success 🙏🏻😊🇲🇾
Ichang & Jimmy, my tears automatically dropped to see such beautiful moments between u two and our Malaysian family there ... your sensitivity and awareness about halal on everything to cooked for muslim amazed me. you two earned my respect. i wish you two well, success and more happier living in Malaysia.
It touch my heart, when you are non muslim but perform sertu to clean all utensils from any subhah or mughallazah stain. Thank you so much iChang and Jimmy. May god bless both of you. You are officially Malaysian since you at Hong Kong. 😄
I salute those generous Msians in this video who shows incredible hospitality & generosity towards these two lucky couple. They have in return showed the world the Msian hospitality.xx
A mix of Japanese cleanness, culture and Malaysian culture and hospitality brings the best of both worlds. This kind of interaction makes the world a happier place!
Ichang and Jimmy. You did a good job. Just want to share, whoever treat you, or give you something for free, you can say 'semoga murah rezeki, instead only say thank you'. It means that you pray them much and so much good things will be granted by God Allah. Really appreciate what you did to us Malaysian. Thanks to both of you.
wow i'm sobbing cuz u sooooo sincere in doing ur thing. what a pure heart. please someone adopt this couple. u more malaysian n muslim than both of it itself. thanks iChang n Jimmy. love u all. i'm totally speechless.
I cried watching this video... There's full of joy in everyone faces showing how they appreciate and love your cooking.. This rich family's really look humble and friendly.. Glad Ichang & Jimmy got to know them and now became grandma grandson and granddaughter.. Thumbs 👍 up..
ichang, you brought me to tears when you put the effort to samak the utensils..... Really ikhlas want to keep it halal.... You earn my respect ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
iChang never stops giving! thank you for sharing your love of nasi lemak ayam goreng with your new nenek and her family...and not having prejudice over baju kelawar as casual attire.
Some youtuber became glamorous. Featured in TV and radio. For Ichang I think they keep a low profile. They are sincere and just want to share with all of us. I think nobody can beat Ichang in terms of sincerity and goodness. They shed tears because they really felt it and meant it. You are the STAR in our hearts Ichang. Always will be.
So so touching! Feel proud to be a Malaysian,The Malay’s family r so warm n sincere in our country,n also the santan seller so kind n generous too,so happy n love to see all the good people around us😀🤝,Ichang n Jimmy ,you both r so lucky bcus almost everyone you met here treat u well! God bless ya💕
My mouth fell open when I saw you use the Taharah soap to ritually clean the utensils etc. Pleasantly shocked I must say. I really appreciate your sensitivity to the religious compliance for Muslims; not many people esp from a non-Muslim background will know these rituals. Now to watch the rest of the video!
I respect both of you on your efforts to learn about the Cleanliness according to the Islamic way. To be honest you are more knowledgeable than our brothers and sisters about the Cleanliness according to Islam. May Allah the Almighty give you Hidayah. Aaaamiiiin.
こんにちは...this is yet an epic video of how a Japanese couple managed to cook Malaysian traditional dish of nasi lemak & was enjoyed by local Malaysian. This is an amazing chapter of life where 2 different cultures were brought together by food. Thank you so much to En Joe & family for being such a wonderful people on earth & the hospitality. Thank you Ichang & Jimmy for sharing such a wonderful yet so touching video to the whole world.

iChang and Jimmy deserves millions of followers and subscribers. Come on Malaysian, support our international brand ambassadors! Thank you iChang and Jimmy for promoting Malaysian culture and food! You guys are the best 👍👍
Arigatou gozaimasu ichang. You are very concerned about halal food preparation. Thumbs up! If i am a prime minister, i will appoint you as ambassador of Malaysia (Japan Category). Hehe.
i am happy to see things are going the way i have expected. there have been so many amazing people you have met during this round of journey around malaysia. i believe all the viewers are thankful for the kind people that have extended genuine malaysian hospitality to you guys.
Watching you guys live in a bigger house now in Malaysia makes me tears up and happy!.. remember that time you guys invited your friend with his girlfriend to try roti canai at your house and she(the gf) start judging your house talking like your house looks like a shooting studio omg i was so angry of her rudeness at the time lol.. with that being said i hope you’re happier than ever! iChang!
This channel never stops amazes me.Its beautiful.😍❤️ Thank you Ichang & Jimmy for being so considerate to muslim. Big respect to both of u. Big thanks also to Ridza & Family. ❤️
Beautiful people. Beautiful soul. I dont know why, but I cried when the grandma hugs IChang. That sincere hugs. And IChang’s smile. It just pure. Pure of kindness.
The Airbnb is quite well equipped eh. Even has a mortar and pestle. I learn so much about Malay food and culture from ichang and Jimmy even though I am Malaysian 😅
@@innerpeacefindings671 agreed. In my personal experience, most malay ppl are very welcoming and accepting towards strangers regardless of their race or religion. If anything they are more welcoming to those non muslims because they want to represent islam through goodwill. Of course there are some that are prejudice and a bit discriminatory, but thats a very very very small grp of ppl.. compared to chinese usually more often u kena discriminate one because cant speak cina. Indian are mostly okay if its outside of working environment. Sorry ah I'm talking from my personal experience.
@@Aeybiseediy you know what, I don't quite agree on the other races discriminate those outside from Malaysian. Often than naught, it's more because of miscommunication. They are unsure whether they will be wrongly judge or wrongly interpreted. Just like us Malay, feeling at ease speaking our mother's tongue even though among us Malay. Fyi, earlier on I wanted to reply to you in Malay but out of respect to iChang & Jimmy because they take the time to read all comments & respond to their fans. Orang memberi, kita merasa. Orang berbudi, kita berbahasa✌🏻😊
the "serawa durian" is the other way of style we eat durian. we make "serawa durian" then we have a very limited amount of durian to serve a big family. that is how out parent make it. 😁
True.. When there's not much durian to go around, we make it into serawa durian (some call it kuah durian) so more people can share the durian in 'kuah' form 😁
I can feel your excitement cooking Malaysian food in Malaysia using Malaysian ingredients 😊 And how thoughtful are u guys to clean the utensils that way before using them. Congratulations on living your Malaysian dreams!
Ichang, you are right about the chili. Sometimes I also mix it up to make it less spicy. Even I can tolerate the spiciness, but it does not good for our tummy if too much spicy. Haha know you exprience how mak cik nasi lemak doing their sambal, they cook it for long time and they usually will sell their nasi lemak at stall early in the morning. That is usually mak cik nasi lemak will do. Prepare their sambal early so they can sell their nasi lemak early in the morning.
Jimmy & iChang, you guys have my biggest respect. The way you guys put effort to clean the utensils using clay soap tell a lot about how you guys being so considerate about muslims. You learn more and more about the muslims and society, and appreciate all those little things around you. May you surrounded with joy & happiness. And how i wish i could meet u… hehe stay safe!
So lucky to have iChang and Jimmy not only as guests to their home, but to cook for them the special nasi lemak. Welcome to Malaysia, i hope you'll enjoy your stay
Thank you to Abang Santan seller, Jimmy , I Chang and Ridza family. This is an example of kindness spread kindness. The end result is heartfelt happiness.
