If you don’t want your fresh mozzarella to burn like that, add it just 5 minutes before you remove it from the oven. 😉 Also, you shouldn’t ever blend your tomatoes. The seeds make the sauce bitter when they’re broken up. Instead you can have fun squishing them with your hands.

If you make Chicago style deep dish pizza right, it definitely shouldn't be soggy - the cheese should melt and act to seal off the crust from excess moisture. Additionally, higher moisture ingredients like toppings and sauce are put on top so more water evaporates.

Nikki was part of last year's layoffs. However, BF has always been open to working with former employees. It wasn't like they wanted to fire people, they just didn't make budget projections.

I got another hacks for making pizza: first mix fresh yeast with sugar, in couple of minutes it starts to dissolve. Then add warm water and flour, don't mix! Wait till it starts bubbling, then add olive, salt and spices, work the dough, leave in warm place for 1 hour and then bake. It also works for sweet bread and yeast cakes! I hope it helps :)

I like to reheat pizza in our toaster oven using the pan. It makes it nice and crispy as opposed to heating it in the microwave which makes it soggy. (I'm talking about reheating after being frozen.)

my cooking hack for reheating pizza is to put it in the oven on a high heat upside down (toppings down on the pizza tray) then once the base is a little crisper then turn the slices back over toppings up, hopefully they haven't all fallen off as the cheese binds them, and the whole pizza comes out super crispy and cheese all goey at same time

When I made this recipe and tried to preheat an upside-down baking sheet, the baking sheet cracked and basically destroyed itself lol

Best way to reheat pizza is in a pan with some oil, cool the bottom so it’s nice and crispy again then flip it over and sear the cheese and toppings. This warms the top AND ands some extra crunch and flavor. Works well with pepperoni pizza since the pepperoni is extra crisp and taste better than it did originally

I totally thought this was going to be a different video. like fast ways to get pizza without actually making pizza. My favorite is using a small tortilla like fajita style.. sauce, cheese. right on the rack, 10 mins at 400. usually use a toaster oven so dont have to wait for oven to heat up :)

the semolina hack to put under the pizza is alright but youre suppose to put a light dusting on it instead of a ton, so that way you dont get too much on it. plus when transferring the pizza, some of it can be brushed off when doing so.

Hack 15 is actually great in my experience. I use a toastie maker instead of a waffle iron and it works perfectly- the inside of the pizza is hot throughout, the cheese is melted and the crust is crispy. And it only takes two minutes! I wouldn’t reheat pizza any other way :D
