I'm a baker and the family chef, and I think you did a really good job. Some of the instructions seemed to be the problem. The sandwich (while being easy) would impress people at a party. Simple is good sometimes. As for the poffins, yes there was too much water, but if you just kneeded them more they would have ended up more solid. Beat dough till it's workable, that's the key. And you were right on the money with your compote' (the berry mixture) when you decided to mush them up, and then heat them more to thicken. The recipe did you wrong by telling you to put it into the raw dough. You should have baked the poffins, THEN filled them with the berry mixture with your pastry bag after. It's like how they do jelly filled doughnuts. So that's not on you. You did great. Plz give us more kitchen adventures.

The poffins actually turned out better than I thought they would coming out of the oven lol. The dough needed to be kneaded a bit since there was too much water in the yeast mixture and the whole poffins should be baked before adding the filling as most baked goods with filling the filling is added after the thing is actually baked. Great content and great try at something out of your comfort zone! Honestly not a bad job at all and I would love to see you tackle more pokemon related food and snack goodies!
