So refreshing to watch younger women embracing home, children, creativity, and what my pastor says, remaining teachable. Today I canned some homemade spaghetti sauce and rearranged a collection of cutting/bread boards in a basket with a few rolling pins. Not a huge change in kitchen decor but beautiful to me. I miss sewing for my kids, but I do have a tub of scrap fabric. Maybe enough for small quilted throws for the grandchildren. Thank you for reminding us all of the dear moments in life that no amount of money can buy! 🥰💕🙌🏻

What you are saying my darling is the essence of a home. We are all makers and a bowl of homemade soup is still a make, a big make to fir a hungry husband and children. May God give you the peace and space to continue your making. I hope to sew a tea cosy and oven mits over the next week. ❤

I love sewing and I get into a rut of only sewing dresses because that is my favorite thing to make. But trying to broaden my horizons. Last year i made 3 quilts, a bag, pillows, many baby toys. it was great and i loved it.

I’ve got a goal of sewing for 15 minutes every day - that might just be a seam or two, maybe cutting out fabric, or getting some embroidery stitches in- and it’s usually done with my two year old in my lap! But I love it. 15 minutes for my brain to run as smoothly as the seam under my needle💛

Thank you for the inspiring video. I am just getting back into sewing after a long time away. I’ve made lots of little gifts, baskets and hot pads, and almost done with one small quilt/table runner. I hope to try sewing clothes, at least a top for myself.

I'm looking forward to continuing to create to learn, and to experience joy. I will include more sewing especially learning to create bags which I've never done, create new recipes, new ways to organize and decorate my spaces, and new ideas for my garden! This past year I created a new sewing space so I can continue my passion.

Love this encouragement 🤩 I started hand embroidery/applique work last year and made one jacket and started another, then I got really sick, but I'm looking forward to getting back to work and this encouraged me 😊
