I don't think it's bad. I would put it on the side and use it as a sidetable. May be I would fill one circle with an orange fillerpiece and on the other side with a neongreen or rose filler. So can reach inside through one Hole from each side. Has a lot of 70s vibe for me.
You made me laugh! Very honest video. I thought it was a bluetooth speakers build. Maybe you can alter it to your liking and do a Part 2. Does the dog like it? I forget, who cares what the dog thinks!
She doesn’t really as long there is food in the bowl. I will revisit this for sure. The old dish holder was one of my first woodworking projects on RU-vid 6 years ago. She deserves a new one for sure.
A tad too tall maybe? Something about the proportions seems off. I like the idea though, just needs a slightly better balance in the dimensions. Thanks for sharing!
Yes, the proportions are off. I can’t make it shorter though because it just the right height for my Labrador. Making it wider would make it look probably better.
you can do many things to change it.. is a nice template though. you can cut it so its not so tall.. if you want to add height you can put smaller legs on it.. or you can try cutting in an 8 shape from on top instead of it having an ovalish shape.. or it will also look cool as a case for 2 planters with plants in them! cool build though!
I kinda liked it, Sebastian! Nicely done! 😃 I think about making something like that for my cats... But I can't decide the design. And their food and water containers are different, so... 😬 Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
It might look better if it’s not so tall. I think the proportions are a bit off. I would love to see your take on it, even with two different containers.
Happens often to me, i make something and it doesn´t look like in my imagination😁. Maybe two smooth connected "drums" look more lightweight? Conical with a weight in the bottom? Two cones formed like a diabolo? Rounding the edge?
Once you put the bowls on it, I immediately saw the problem with it. The dog didn’t like it because you put the seam side facing out instead of facing the wall. Rookie mistake Sebastian 😂 dogs pick up on the smallest of defects lol
