I was driving with my wife to get groceries when I noticed 2 overgrown properties on the same street. I tried to knock on the door and nobody answered. It looked abandoned! The next day, I knocked on the neighbors door and asked him about the overgrown properties. He told me the owner lives in one of them. I got a hold of the owner and told him that i'd give him both of his yards a free makeover. I made 2 of the worst looking yards on the block shine like diamonds. You never cease to amaze me with your work ethic, devotion to your faith, and how incredible you speak of your wife. I still remember a quote from one of your first videos I ever watched, its what made me want to subscribe, "Treat your equipment like your wife and it will last a long time." That is a rhododendron. Very common around here. They grow better over on the coast around Seattle. The shrubs in front by the steps are junipers and the taller shrubs on either side are arborvitae.

as someone who lives out in the country "not middle of nowhere just not under the control of a municipality" throwing your clippings back on the lawn is a great way to save money on fertilizer and provides a good result when done properly

Fill I know this was a long and hard job! You did a great job on this. Now here comes the momma out of me... You have a place set for everything you use..lawn mowers, tools, edgers, weed eaters...NOW.. Fix you a spot for a large cooler, that when its needed, you have it. Research the brands, to find one that would hold up under 6 to 8 hrs of heat. What a cracking job you've completed on this property. 👍👍👍 You have got a very steady hand trimming those two conifers and large junipers. That tree looks so much better with its hair cut. The rhododendron with the purple flowers, is a beautiful sight to see, here in the UK their flowers have long gone. It looked a big plot for you to do, but your hard work has shone through! Thank you to "Fill's" wife for bringing the water and supporting him! This was another great video. I can't believe the guy owns two houses near each other, that's pretty cool! I had a couple doubts that he wasn't going to trim those trees proper, but he went back and touched them up and I give him an A+ on the trees and on the overall cleanup. I can't believe that grass actually looked very green and dense with no burnout. Amazing job overall so thank you for making the homeowner and the neighbors happier and safer! God bless!

What a difference, looks brilliant! It's very risky however to cut the grass soo short when it's been left soo long. The best possibly way to keep life on the grass would be to take a maximum of half the height off of the grass to keep the broad on each blade of grass which encourages the roots to thicken after it next obsorbs water😊

Purple Passion Alstromeria, aka Peruvian Lily I believe. Beautiful. They look like orchids! Thanks to Fill's wife for bringing him water! A ton of heavy duty edging, yes! A lot of reaching on the bush trimming as well. That man knew what a great job he was receiving and greatly appreciated it. We old schoolers believe in a laborer entitled to his wages and it's sometimes difficult to accept gifts. But He also says we are to accept gifts with grace and not to take the blessings from the giver! God bless you! Also, owner is trying to make repairs and improve appearance of home step by step so this will lift his spirits and greatly encourage him!

if a person offers to pay. take it. it gives them a feeling of worth and dignity. people have pride and many don't want charity but an opportunity. they may not be able afford the $100.00 for service but can the $20.00 it gives them dignity especially the older folks.

I have two big thermos's made by Ozark that I take just to do my mom's (Push mowed) just to make sure that I don't get "dehydrated". I use some of it that to wet a cool wrap around my neck (helps for a little while, but not long). Stay hydrated as much and take breaks in the shade or you truck if necessary, don't need heat stroke, I have had it and it not a good feeling. and will put you down for days.

Nice work Fill. That yard needed a lot of help. It is really amazing how fast grass can grow. Before you know it, the lawn gets away from you. You definitely made cutting that lawn look like child's play. It is also a good thing that your wife had your back as far as helping you stay hydrated. I have seen Heat Stroke up close and personal. What a workout. Don’t know how you deal with all that dust. Keep better hydrated. Get a cooler and keep filled with water. Freeze 1/2 of them as will keep cooler chilled. Sure your sweet wife can keep section of freezer filled with frozen water to start you out each day. Continued success!!!

I just thank you extra much more for picking up the cut grass and throwing it out instead of leaving it strewn all over the place to look messy & rot and make yellow, burnt out spots on that lawn under the dead grass cuttings... and for picking up the edging instead of blowing it all over the lawn. I really can't stand seeing the cut grass clippings not picked up. Its the way it should be... to get rid of/removing the cuttings.
