You gotta fill that spacebar with something. If I'm not mistaken they sell pads to put inside there. I ordered my K8 pro and I'm waiting for it to arrive. I kinda don't like the sounds I'm hearing here though. I hope I can fix it and make it sound like my custom LK68
Are you setting the mic stand feet on the desk? I can hear the sound of you bottoming out the keyboard resonating the desk and what I assume is going back into the mic via it's stand. Before we know it you'll be tuning keyboards to a modified harmon curve haha.
I noticed the exact same behavior with the space button on my k8. Waiting for new keycaps to try out. Had slightly better results with a Gateron G Pro Black Switch against the stock Gateron Brown. Nice approach & video
Did the same - changed the spacebar switch from gateron pro brown to pro black; also filled the two notches between the switch and the stabilizers with some silicone inserts I had in TH80 - the sound got much better.
What space mod are you referring to? You didn't even show that. Kinda annoying when you mention that and didn't even show it in your video. Kinda lame video in a way honestly. 🤦♂😒
If you want to change the sound, change the spacebar from the stock one. That's the point. And if showing objective measurements to show the difference is lame to you, we'll I don't know what to tell you. Maybe my videos are just not for you, and that's fine. Sorry for my english, but I have a question.... Is possible to mod the original space bar keycap, for example with a Dremel, to avoid the touching with the switch? And another question... Where you put the Gaffer tape? Inside the space Keycap?. Thanks for your video and time...
