Hornet crisis has been highly requested, so why not pair it up with one of the best corrosion weapons in the game right now. The Roulette ship. Constant corrosion with the weapons and then corrosion storms with the ship are wild. This might be the best corrosion build I've ever seen or used in the game. I could've used the wasp drone, but honestly its not worth it over the meta drones. Corrosion King 👑

Fun fact: Some time ago Pixonic buffed many T4 weapons by 40%, and Hornet and Wasp were in the list. However, Pixonic only buffed the normal damage, as if the corrosion couldn't be improved. It's not unlikely they did it like that in anticipation of Reaper. Therefore, before asking for any reload reduction, it is best to ask for the missing 40% buff to corrosion.

I wish you used the legendary pilot Midea Nerium, who provides 15% direct damage for DOT weapons. Gintare is not bad, I guess. Also, the Hornet shoots kinetic bullets, which deals doubled damage against Rook's physical shield, so you should start blasting whenever you have the chance.

Yeah. They do the same for the hornet, as both increase weapon damage 15% in a certain way, however, Midea is by little more constant than Gintare for Hornets, as there are 3~5 shots wasted after the Crisis ability, meanwhile with Midea, the 15% damage buff is constant

One thing I don't like about the corrosion effect is it deals almost zero gray damage. This means players with a lot of healing can completely heal back most all the corrosion damage you deal to them if they can heal fast enough.

It deals exactly zero gray damage. Considering that was meant to be a balancing measure for the fact that it can bypass normal resistance, I do like that about it. However, with the introduction and proliferation of unmitigable resistance (which it also bypasses), I do think it should deal gray damage equal to the % of that resistance. In doing so, corrosion gains new usefulness and unmitigable resistance gains a specific counter to balance it relative to normal resistance (Reaper does not help in this regard).

Yeah dot just sucks and gets outclassed by every other form of dps, Sonic does a ton of dmg and prevents healing, blast bypasses resistance with more burst dmg and grey dmg, I think the only good thing is that hornet and sting weapons do kinetic so 2x to physical shields

i used it a lot to counter relector bots like hawk, harpy and siren. it works, but that 12 sec reload is a killer.

Been running the Unknown Seraph with Cryptic Redeemers and using Lockdown. That lightning hitting every Red in front of you is great. Really helps slow them from getting to beacons if you run it early so people don’t have the IA charged up yet.

The strongest DOT effect you can get from a mothership is from the monarch, at almost a whopping 6k dmg per second

Max frozen scorn does 7k but it sucks cuz it does no extra damage, even tho it lasts for 9 seconds you'll usually never get a kill with it

Everything is starting to get in place but im having major problems with getting the weapons i won the sirrius the other day and i now have the indra, but there's no point in me using them with out the correct weapoms, like the minos as well🤔🙄😕. Wasp actually has the same corrosion damage as hornet and corrosion can’t be boosted by any damage boosts and as another guy said, it deals zero gray damage They should really buff corrosion :(

Hornet's weapon is very powerful, but the problem is with Picsonic, which makes old weapons very weak, and does so constantly and with every update, unfortunately.

I tried it recently and it was just too weak. Bots have too much HP and resistance nowadays for that weapon to do much good.

No you need it on a heavy weapon robot like Erebus or Behemoth or even Crisis. It hits with the same power as cataclysm. We need to see the Calamity Crisis!

it surprisingly does. I have double hp extenders loaded up so I can get way more hp. And the DOT effect gets a ton of kills
