You are very young but you have the brains and heart of a matured person. Keep it up with your dreams. The sky is your limit and don't listen to the old borgas who have wicked intentions for the youth who are doing better than them. In their old age of 70s they are still working in the diaspora cos of poor planning and wickedness. Kudos and your dreams will come true...
Don’t put all of us in one basket. I am in my mid-70s. Lived in America for more than fifty years. I am retired software engineer & currently own a business in the Houston area. I will never advocate against the ambitions of the youth. On the other hand to keep your eyes on the prize. Just follow the laws. Keep away from bad company. You will be fine.
@@kwasi47 thank you uncle but some of the old borgas are wicked and don't want the youth to prosper. There are some good ones which are not easy to come by in the diaspora.

DJ Nyame your question on his entry into IT response very shallow. Sometimes I don’t know whether it’s intentional thought program educative . Now there are several paths towards IT education either online or on campus education associate,bachelors education. Online courses ranges Comptia,Linux etc.
I noticed the same thing. Perhaps the job doesn’t require higher educational qualifications or some sort of high level experience.I wish he could have been more sincere to the audience who gullible.
How successful you will become will have a lot to do with what documentation you have on arrival and who you have to advise you on arrival. Today thanks to the Internet you don't even need anyone's advice anyway. Planning well comes third. Life is a marathon, You can have all 3 but yet fail in the long run. Note; in my opinion only about less than 5% of the diaspora Ghanaian will become rich rich or fulfilled to their satisfaction. The good advice when you are ahead: Note - Some of the old people who have not made it are not from lack of good planning, but somewhere along the line, some stumbling block awaited them. To the young men arriving into the new era, make the most of it. It is easier now than 40-50 years ago when we arrived. So you have little excuse to fail!

More than 5 ghanaian guys ( lol 3 from ucc computer engineering grad only work experience in gh) working for top I mean global companies hired straight from ghana even. The company dud everything for them. I work in recruitment. Companies are struggling to fund it talent. But the person need the right skills! If yih don't have work experience and you apply to a senior job know you won't get it.... I was allowed ti recruit people from all over also many Africans their Cc not up to date good enough for abroad. I help professionals with that via LinkedIn advising them. Not all is race. So many countries in Europe are hiring hiring talent from africa remote or relocating them.
Making $30 in Maryland, Virginia, DC is not a anything big deal because the cost of living over there is very expensive so in this case someone making 15 or 18 in less cost of living states if far better than those in high cost of living states that pays $30
Im sorry but some things he said is a bit ridiculous. How are you an adult blaming other Ghanaians in USA. Full grown adult if someone advises you go into IT. YOU want THEM to sit you down and explain when there is internet RU-vid etc videos explaining differences in IT. You can't blame anyone for this but yourself. IF SOMEONE says IT what you should do it research and see which IT things you like to do. Ghanaians like doing that someone said go does this and then later go and complain that the person did not advice you well. I see no mistake with people saying go into IT. GHANAIANS dont like reseach. All these excuses... someone saying spend the money in the country and you grown adult go and buy sneakers 1000 dollars 2k dollars. Spend money in the country can even mean save and buy a house. Save buy stocks safe and create business in the country you are in to create more money. I aslo advice people who are good in certain things to go for IT learn coding. I don't say which languageas they should do their own research and see what they want to study. The Indian will go and research and go to the person ok I did my research on IT I'm interested in this field. Ghanaians are careful o. Go and advice someone and when it goes wrong they blame you lol. Or if they don't like it they blame you oh kwame said I should do cybersecerity and not data science for example. The Indians etc they love to learn. Not even a week he said he got scammed money gone! All my money waisted. Always take take take never I take action show my family abroad I am hustling so then invest in me. Only take take take.
