The idea of sending your children to be brought up by your parents in Ghana sounds good but it's actually backwards. You just end up being "that lady or man living overseas that sends money". Your children won't actually have the bond of living with their parents.
It’s your opinion but there are different ways you could look at it . If you meant taking your kids to your parents if they are in Ghana to live for ever , then it’s sth else.. but to take your kids to Ghana for a couple of months to a couple of years 1-2, or 3. I don’t see anything wrong with it . It rather makes the kids sober , they learn sth different and they become practical .
@@JoshConnectMedia I agree, for a few months or maybe even a year or two. What I meant was people living overseas for 10 years and their kids see them once every 5 years if they’re lucky. That is not life. There are lots of people in that situation and I can clearly see the damage it does to the children especially but it’s like an undiscussed topic in our community.

Not all men can be that ungrateful. Women are even worst that the moment you help them find their feet, then quickly you're no more their class. My cousin got his US-based wife through recommendation from a friend, the woman came down from San Francisco for them to get married, the woman returned, 4 years later my cousin followed her and they're together now. It all depends on the individuals.

I dont agree to some extent. As far as the man is responsible and the lady has the wifey traits to give the man peace, I believe there wont be issues of breakups. This lady never learnt from her first mistake, went ahead to have the second child with no man.Her chances of landing a responsible man has dropped exponentially. and shes gonna learn to live alone till d3ath.

Always it's the man fault but when we dig deep we will notice that u played a major part.. you maybd right but Marriage is a two way affair.. the fact that you have brought somebody son's to America doesn't give u the right to abuse him emotionally and start controlling him.. your aburokyire boys themselves cannot handle u cz they are not emotionally though , they always run away ..so humility on both ends will solve matters .put that aburokyire system elsewhere in marriages otherwise marriage will not work 🙏🙏
DJ Arlington is a suburb of Dallas-Fort Worth, right in the middle of the twin cities. Late 80s, it used to be about like 2k population wise, right now we're over 6k. Arlington is an entertainment hub of the metroplex. I like it here.
I brought three women to USA two left me wat the third woman and her mother ran me through is unblievable.I hv to run away from USA I am now reside in a village in Ghana free life.

Some of the African restaurants customer service stinks to high heavens. Some places look like village chop bars. Trust me, I have lived in America on both coasts. Now currently in the Houston area. I bought food at an African restaurant in the Dallas area last year during a visit. Not only was the food back, the place was not up to snuff. I do patronize a large Ghanaian (African) market in Houston. I will always prioritize my fellow African’s place of business. I do 2 have grown up children (both in their 40s) & therefore raising children needs dedication, tenacity & commitment from both parents. They will eventually end being good citizens. No one (in my opinion) should shrink their responsibility of raising their kids & assign their upraising to extended relatives in Ghana in any part of Africa.
Honestly, I am a subscriber on DJ Nyaami's page & he's interviewed a lot of men who travelled abroad from Ghana through their wives and are doing great in life Again, I have watched DJ Nyaami interview men who are living peacefully with their wives they brought abroad from Ghana I pretty much think it's the individuals involved. It's really sad, what she's saying is true. The laws for co-parenting etc is on the books. Parents must allow their adult children to make choices for life partners. After all, they have to marry their partners. I know quite a number of Ghanaians and non Ghanaians women who have gone really bad experiences.
most Ghanaian men from Akan especial Ashanti men if they get chance then later they will leave and marry their old girlfriend and they have sweet words to confused your mind to you and mostly Akan women in abroad want to marry their own tribe from Akan region bco of what their parents tell them against other tribe in Ghana and if they get their own tribe Akan man then later they treat them bad.I remember sometime ago i got a Ghanaian woman based in USA online and she want Ghanaian man to marry , before she got to know that am a Ga tribe she reject me and she say she want her own tribe from Akan from Ashanti.
You know is very painful when women think they are the only victims,I was actually supposed to travel to the US but had a problem with age limits so decided to sponsor my wife rather cos her age was ok for the program, she got to the US after 3 years she ditched me for no reason but took my cool to move on

Never marry a man or a woman that isn't your girl or boy friend before leaving Ghana and still have a link throughout your absence, period!! there good ones in the nuts but very very few. I will advise my children to date right here, and never Ghana, lai la!!
DJ Nyame was laughing when she said apapransa is an old dish. But she's right it's almost extinct How many young Ghanaian ladies today can prepare it? It's always jollof, rice and stew and fufu.And even with that these girls still struggle. It's sad

I'm in America California and trust me because of the system here if you are a man and not emotionally intelligent don't try to marry a lady from America..some men are cunning and it's all over the world. I don't want sound rude but don't compare nursing with medical assistance. Just say you are a health worker lol. Huge difference between 4 years nursing and medical assistance. May be compare it to LPN. Lol.
U.S. Customs would not allow live animals like snails, fish... or anything that has foreign soil on it because they can contain foreign diseases that can easily be transferred to and spread in the U.S.You can bring dried, smoked fish, koobi etc. I recently brought snails but I had to dry them and put them in tom brown powder.
I will never send my children to Ghnana for my mother or a family member to raise. If you do that the child develops love for the person who raises them Not you . I’m talking from my own experience I was raised by my grandma. I raised my kids in America with my husband they are grown university graduate it wasn’t easy but it’s part of life. I never hit my children my grandma never hit me.

Restaurants in Ghana uses more fresh ingredients than those in abroad. It would be better to educate your children yourself in abroad than sending them to Ghana. We should try to arrange our time table well. It brings lock of parents love between you and the children when you bring them back to abroad. For we should try to rease our own children to know their good and bad character. They need our support and our love.

Medical assistant is not a nurse. Medical assistants assist the nurses here in US. Let’s all appreciate all sides of nursing and be honest about our careers. Some Ghanaians are assistants claiming to be nurses. Nursing school no be easy kraa. Medical assistant is not the same as nursing. This is coming from a nurse practitioner. Anyways, yes I’ve witnessed so many people going to ghana to find wives and husband. Most never end well.
You both need to go back and listen to the explanation I gave about the difference between a registered nurse and an MA before you try to condemn people, I am not ashamed of what I do for a living, I made sure I explained it well so go back and take time to listen to it again I never said I was a Nurse
An advice to every Ghanaian man wanting to marry in America..1.there is no head of the house situation in America, put all ego aside and keep it in mind to be the server..2. work on yourself, your personal development and build yourself emotionally, I mean emotional intelligence should be your key.you should know how to very calm and not take things at heart .. America is nice, America is sweet but if u don't take time u will be depressed and might commit suicide if u are with the wrong lady.
