You are supposed to wet the paper not the ball that’s how wet sanding works. Plus you should probably be using a mallet not a small hammer for nails. I know this as with wet sanding I have to do it post printing of a 3d printed part non ABS to make it smooth

Mike Russo it would peel everytime you sand it. The whole point is to try to compress it into almost a solid peice of aluminum. Ive seen videos of guys who used 3 times as much foil and it was less then half the size of hers.

Which is why hers is not dense enough, or else shes gonna continue to hit air pockets that would peel up. Also the way she sanded it is lame... looks like she jumped from a very low grit to a high one..

Faith Emmanuel I do see what you mean, and while. I appreciate that theres an entertainment factor to this semi failure then success...... That's a lot of fail for not a lot of success. More than a couple days were wasted on this. The actual way someone fails at this is one person on the team, a producer usually, does all the practical research so that the person shooting the video fails, but has the answer right away, or the research is readily available. On film its made to look a bit longer but really its 10 to 20 minutes. However this video is done in real time. Does not qualify as professional failure 'I tried' video. Took days. And produced the same level, or in my opinion substandard content and as an employer I'd be very annoyed at the unprofessional nal nature of it.
