Canadian here as well. Just wondering if you ended up applying to CARMS since you did QE1? I'm debating whether or not to do QE1 and apply to CARMS or should i just focus on the US match. (im a 4th year Caribbean student doing rotations atm.)

Wow! Congratulations. Do you have tips for someone who failed a subject in medical school. Is it a mahor red flag? Will it hurt your chances in getting into competitive residency prorgram? Is there someone you know who failed a subject in med school and still got into to for example radiology?

Congratulations!!! I’m thinking about going to a Caribbean med school particularly SJSM. How was your experience there as a whole? Was it a good environment? Were there good resources at the school if you needed help with things? Did you notice a lot of people leaving the program(I’ve heard of Caribbean schools not being completely truthful about their attrition rate)? Financial strain? Did a lot of your peers end up matching as well?
