The mission got interrupted by the fall of Reach, and one of the only surviving Spartan 2s escaped on the ship that was supposed to be used for the mission, the Pillar of Autumn.

Also consider that if Chief had successfully deleted her, the Harbinger would've have free reign from that point forward. The problem is that trust is inherently a risk, but it is a risk you have to take with SOMEONE to be able to accomplish your goals. Human beings are just as capable of atrocities and yet we don't kill people at the first hint of the possibility of a problem. Treating AI like machines is part of the problem, just as the UNSC treats Spartans as military hardware. Disposable. And yet, without Chief AND Cortana, Humanity would probably have still lost to the Covenant. It's incredibly complicated, but I can't agree that jumping the gun at the first sign of trouble is justifiable. Understandable, sure, he's traumatized, but not justifiable.

He grinded his ass off for us, it was so intense! It was awesome to see so many from our community stay tuned in for so long to pull for him

It came after he lost control over The Ark too, so for him this was a massive price to pay. He's still really dangerous though, he's literally the one who will lead a massive army, new enemy that was sealed eons ago by the Forerunners.

@@iRosss. he spent hours on the Harbinger boss fight and couldn’t get past the last section of enemies, the one with the Brute Chieftain. It was hard to watch. Infinite Legendary can be brutal.

@@iRosss. it basically push him to the brink of giving up on it luckily Deebeegirl and chat gave him a peptalk to take a break today instead of streaming pokemon. Clear his mind since he said it himself this year he's going to take better care of himself guess he just needs reminders from time to time

@@Xeno-The-Wanderer What I mean to say is that I don't think there is a correlation whatsoever. Just because something happens here in this fictional universe doesn't mean that it inspired this happening here in another fictional universe. They didn't just plan to have UNSC Headquarters be in Sydney so that once it was destroyed, after years in real life pass, they could reference Gundam. It's a weak link, from my standpoint. Now, if we find out the way in which it was destroyed was due to Cortana moving an orbital station or something into a collision course, then I could see it as a potential reference. There is a bit of a reference for Gundam in the form of one of the skins you and get for mp, after all.

@@mee4644 yes, Karaba Scirocco however Halo is no stranger to Gundam references with many people finding Mjollnir Armor have similarities to Earth Federation Mobile Suit Design
