I Messed Up. Flying on a MEXICAN Holiday Airline

expecting a kid and a 6'4 brit turns up.... best laugh of the morning!

Orders a child seat and then boards wearing a sombrero. Is this what a mid-life crisis looks like?

Noel, I knew she this plane was familiar. I'm a proud agent with Southwest. Those 300s were work horses and were well kept. One characteristic cabin temperdture fluctuations happened. Your section of seats were hot and a few rows away got super cool. My last 300 flight was several years ago home from FLL. I had an asile seat last row port side. On the ground it was warm. The captain acknowledged this. Once airborne the cabin was super cool. I like cooler temps but, I almost felt chilly. Otherwise a great bird. I'm glad this plane is having a second life.

That Qatar flight will have been carrying Tigres UANL football team, they played against Bayern Munich in the Club World Cup final!

Magni is known for keeping their planes in perfect shape, even if whey aren't the newest up in the skies, their maintenance has always been awesome.

For anyone interested in knowing whom the football team that they were carrying is Tigres UANL. They played FC Bayern München (Munich) in the FIFA Club World Cup in Doha this year 😁

Loving all these random airlines on your channel. Most of which I’ve never heard of before. For a classic 737 it looks to be in amazing condition. Southwest must have looked after it well. Funny, I instantly recognised the airlines seats! ✈️

It’s nice to see an old -300 still in action. I did some research, out of the former Southwest -300s they have in their fleet I have been on 4 of them. I do miss the classics.

Ha, they kept the Southwest Airlines interior, guess they didn't want to shell out money for a refurb when the cabin was in fine condition.

When I worked on cruise ships, a number of them had Johnny Rockets. I lived off their Route 66 (mushroom Swiss) and their shakes.

With charters the flight and crew originate from the departure city also no people making connections so fewer on time performance issues.

I was in Cancun airport last Jan/Feb (before Canada closed their border for non-essential travel).. I definitely remembered Johnny Rockets.. I had their burger and Onion rings if I recall.. It was really good

I remember many years back, they used to have the 737-200 and the crew uniform was "charro style". Always on time and really friendly.

They had Johnny rockets on the cruise line we go on. It’s amazing. They dance and everything when you get your burger. The milkshakes are the best

Yeah ,I always packed a water bottle whenever I traveled. Another thing once I got through security was a large drink FULL of ice. Ice is the one thing every airline was skimpy with and most non-alcoholic drinks were room temperature

The interior is nice because Southwest renovated the interiors shortly before retiring those 737-300’s and also adding extended larger overhead bins.

Hope you still in Mexico, maybe you can try more unusual airlines such Aerotucan c208 caravans from oaxaca to huatulco, or Mayaair Do-228/Fokker 50 from mérida to cancun

Loved having a Johnny rockets burger when I was waiting for my flight back to Manchester from Cancun!

There's also a few Jhonny Rocket's in Madrid, North of Italy (and Rome) and Oslo.

I’ve noticed every time I fly on vacation in mexico the planes have seemed hot to me. I flew on a flight from houston to cancun on a southwest 737-700 and it was very hot. another time I flew with american on a crj 900 and it was boiling so I find it weird that other people have experienced hot planes in mexico.

Johnny Rockets is incredible. been to several around the states and always look out for them. been 7 years snice I had one. hope they are still as good now!

I never imagined that you will travel with Magnicharters, and also I will never though that you will travel with them to my hometown. 😁 Those Magni planes are relatively new, they flew some 737 from late Varig so you can imagine how old their aircraft was. And for the meals, they always offered a meal service like sandwiches, some chips and drinks but I think the covid-19 situation made them to change their mind.

Love your videos. Thank you. Are the seats blue and gray or blue and kind of a rust (orangey brown) color? Blue and rust is the more traditional Southwest colors for seats.

OMG have been to Cancun three times whilst holidaying in Florida but that was a long time ago, the airport sued to be horrible and old, wow how its changed.

That 733 may look in good condition on the inside, but if it was with Southwest for most of its life then it's got a ton of cycles on it. I hope Magnicharters is putting the required resources into adequately maintaining their geriatric aircraft.

I fly to Juarez a couple of times a year from UK via Mexico City. Often take Viva Aerobus up to Juarez. Really nice airline I have found. :)

I flew on a 737-300 with BMI back in 2011 long time ago now didn't appreciate it much at the time of course can't remember much but now glad I did

at least at the end you got a squirt of gel before getting off the plain
