I think it made the video better leaving the mistake in it. It’s nice to hear of decent understanding people left in this world and hopefully someone else can learn from this man’s attitude that stuff happens and its not worth being angry over. Like you said, it couldn’t have been a better time to learn a valuable lesson about checking maps and that man being a decent human helped make that lesson not so painful other than some time lost. As always, loved seeing the pup, such a handsome devil and glad he gets to hang out with you at work!

Man this video really hits home today. I watch random digging videos and was not expecting a lesson at the end of the video and as a fellow Christian I respect what you do and hope God blesses you in all that you do. Really encouraged me to be more open with others about Christianity no matter the platform.

I have to agree with Igor. I was not expecting that at the end since I also stumbled upon this strictly from the construction excavation point of view. But what a refreshing ending. And I agree, it does give you hope that there are decent people still in this world. Turns out I'm ending my day with this video. I think that's very fitting. This is the quiet part of my day as I am quadriplegic from a car accident about 30 years ago. I used to work in engineering consulting, but my joy was hands-on carpentry, construction , excavation , anything I could do outdoors. Never got into heavy equipment but certainly small equipment. And I enjoy living vicariously through these videos. So thank you again for a nice ending to my day and restoring my faith in people. It's been a difficult time lately, medical and otherwise, too much to divulge here, but this video and the ending definitely was uplifting. Thank you for that. Keep up the good work.

The end of that road had all the ingredients for a bad ending with a high strung adjoining landowner. I was watching in anticipation wondering if you were just leading us along for a ride.....but when I saw the red flags and the text on the screen of the upcoming error I was praying for the best. We have some really good people where we live and this is a great example of that. The message from Proverbs 19 and Romans 12 was the right medicine for this occasion. Thanks for the video!

Just found this and watched. Had a conflict with my son in law just 2 days ago. He was TOTALLY in the wrong, and if I wasn’t paralyzed and able to speak I may have lashed out, but thankfully I got a couple days to think and pray about it. In my heart I was yelling 😕, and will soon address the issue via text, but a couple days to mull things over certainly helped. Nothing worse than being around a hot headed person. I found, years ago, it is how when approached your attitude will be the deciding factor of how the conversation will go. I learned that while taking a detour in my life to see if I could handle driving a big rig. Well, I did for 5 years, just to prove it to myself. My attitude towards the DOT Officer's always went well. You treat them with respect, you will get the same. Even with a small mistake you did a great job!

I just found this one to watch. The way it started out reminded me of Willie Nelson singing "The Last Thing I Needed (the first thing this morning). When you were pulling down that vine, I thoroughly expected you to cut loose with a Johnny Weismuller (sp ?) Tarzan yell and swing down toward the County Road. You're "It happens" encounter with the other property owner is one that renews one's faith in reasonable people. I'm glad we had talked about this type of totally unscripted "reality TV". I've ran equipment my whole life, i was in a skiddy when i was 6 years old, working with my pops, and you did an awesome job on this road. I was thinking maybe a higher bank on that corner for trucks to come in, but when You walked it, i could tell that thing was banked perfect and just wide enough. Good job, man.

Your reading scripture warmed my heart and loved your view on life. I'm not perfect and was a quick tempered person not many years ago. great video! I too have made mistakes while being in the construction profession for 40 yrs. I really do beleive a soft word is better to solve issues than an angry response. It is hard when someone is cursing you to be calm and be the voice of reason.But I really like the verse you read about living in peace if at all possible. God bless you!

Been there, and done that so many times. The best skills I have ever obtained is learning to stick/mig/tig weld and run a lathe/milling machine. It's so empowering, especially if you have a buddy or two with a plasma table and water jet. Love the reflection at the end via scripture. You are my new favorite Christian excavator.
Don't look at it as building a road on the wrong property, look at it as installing a passing lane. Lol. That man is wise, he understands that people make mistakes. But, just like God gives us grace and mercy when we mess up, that man had compassion and understanding. I used to react wrongly when I was younger, but I'm getting better at it as I get older. Man that road looks good!! I seen you get out and remove that little tree that fell over your dozer blade. I know the feeling. I get a lot of that mulching. A lot of times they try and pin me in the machine by falling in front of the door. Maybe if I keep hoping and praying I’ll have me a fancy dozer like you and ole smith worx! I sure do love a dozer. This was great video! Awesome message. Keep it up!!
Thank you! I saw a few of those limbs in your mulching video that was trying to get you. Especially that cedar that sent the CAT bucking and jumping. I thought ouch that was a rough one. I didn't use to wear my belt in the skid steer. But I ate the glass door pretty hard one day and every since then I wear it in there. Keep going after it and the dozer may be a reality.
@@tristardiggin yeah I hung that cedar just off the edge of the mulching head and when it slipped in it tossed me forward. I wear the belt on the hills now. Holds me in my seat better and kinda helps my back not hurt as bad. I’ve slammed my head into the roof a time or two. I get upset when my hat comes off too lol. The belt on the dozer is a pretty good call too. I’m gonna keep pushing for a good future. See what the good Lord has in store for me.
