yeah i think it's admirable to tell somebody you're dating to hold off on spending a lot of money on you because you're not sure if you want to be with them long term. that way if they still offer to do it they can't be disappointed or mad if things don't work out and end.

I remember going on a date one time. The girl scared the shit out of me. Then she ordered a lot of food to take way and i PAID for it. In her mind she was like this guy is a fool. But I didn't feel like eating. It was a Chinese restaurant and the food was super cheap. So I was totally okay with it because I knew that I'ld never text her again.
