Anyway, Ive made a reply on my own comment that the guy is more American and Western than a Filipino or Asian. Jelena is more Filipino than him culturally speaking. I think, in my opinion, she does not like to have a guy with western leanings with regards to culture.

I was in Switzerland in 2012, Zurich, Lucerne, Lugano, and in Interlaken. That’s the most beautiful country I have ever been. It’s like paradise on Earth. Place and water is sooo clean, fresh air, lots of greeneries. Expensive but worth to visit ❤️Enjoy Jelena with your new friend.🙌
My Mom's very close friend (almost fiancé) Peter Brenner was from Switzerland. They met in Ann Arbor, Michigan back in the late 60s when they were both doing graduate studies. Peter told my Mom that he preferred Southeast Asian women to European women 😄 and actually ended up with a Thai wife. I wished I met him personally before he died.
Basel is one of my top 3 cities to visit or live in Europe (Prague and Paris are the 2 others). As you said, it is beautiful, right mix of rural and urban, friendly people who speak English, French, German, and Swiss, amd not expensive.

So lovely you met a Filipino, I’ve been to Switzerland too and must admit it’s my favourite country in Europe, it’s expensive country but it was so lovely.Jeff father is black but pity he can’t speak Tagalog knowing his looks obviously with a Filipino side, this is the problem with other Filipino father or mother who don’t teach their kid with Filipino language and yet they look so native. My parents are mixed too but both parents are mixed of filipino/Spanish but I speak Tagalog, Spanish,German and I took my DNA found out I have Finnish blood so not sure which part of my parents, now in London I have friends from more than 50 countries. Love the interaction with those musicians.❤

Yeah summer time in Europe is so nice so many feasts: bread, wine, fish, music club in evry villages, beach party even if they no beaches only sands 😂... And we go to dPhil in winter time here... ..

How I wish people would stop wishing that I find a partner. I just want to be single in this period of time. Philippines is my soul mate if you worry that im lonely. 😅 For me, it is more than enough right now.
