@@creepercraft1107 Its been a while but if I remember I pulled up a calculator on this vid because I was curious so I'm pretty sure this was even after the halfing
he needed 4 shellfish of the xyrelia to kill. He had 10+ i know the paladin weapon seems threatening but its just 60 health(less actually due to rounding up).
The play at 26:31 was super weird. By silencing the minion first he removes 2 ticks of fatigue in exchange for doing damage to the board which would never prevent lethal damage himself. I mean it was fine but still odd play when he wasn't sure if had the lethal or not.
it only takes 4 shellfish to kill someone at 30 health if every draw is causing fatigue. If you've completed the quest with this deck, that means you can lethal them from at least 6 cards remaining. You can probably lethal them from more cards, given how many shellfish are summoned silenced
Xyrella isn't the quest reward, she's just a hero card; also, the reason Roffle wasn't sure during the paladin game was partly because Cariel was up and the weapon reduces all damage by half (rounding up) and he didn't really stop to math it out
although even with Cariel's weapon you only need to trigger 5 shellfish deathrattles because of the rounding up - on the first 8 fatigue draws, you lose 0, 1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 4 for total 16, leaving 20 damage - with 2 more draws you deal another 10 damage (9/2 + 10/2) for exactly 30
- Xyrella damage: 28:00 - Paladin: Fatigue: [5...26] --> 341 dmg 38:00 - Warlock: Fatigue: [3...22] --> 250 dmg Guldan had 42 hp including armor. (30hp+12armor) 42-250 = -208 Guldans life was at -208 at the end.
I just played this deck against a Corrupted blood priest that got 200 armor from forgefiend, I played Xyrella right after he played his Xyrella, causing him to draw like 40 corrupted bloods and lose, was a hilarious game, thanks Roffle!
Bless, I faced a deck like this in Standard the other day as Naga Mage, except they popped off just short of lethal expecting me to die to fatigue in a few turns and all my win-cons were in hand. That was when I played the single copy of Ignite that I keep in case I blow through my own deck. They didn't seem happy about that judging by how quickly they conceded.
This deck tracker (FirestoneHS) does actually have a graveyard tracker you can enable, I use it all the time it's really helpful. Not sure why he doesn't have it on, I'm guessing because he doesn't want to have too much on the stream as it does get a bit crowded
Let's go I fucking love this card. I run it in my mech warrior deck now just cause it's a fun card even if it doesn't have any synergies. Almost legend again with this deck !
Since the cards came out, I’ve wanted to see somebody pull off an emeriss deck or a hi’reek deck. Just me shooting my shot here but it’d be really cool if you could make it happen.
Honest to god I knew what the deck was trying to do. The first game almost felt like a silence priest match but, instead of the bigger minions, you're shoving a 4 mana 7/7 like the old days in Shaman.
Getting rolled by aggro? Sure, i could see that. But its almost physically impossible to lose control matchups with this deck if you have more than 2 braincells lmao
@@jackla2525 all you have to do is hold 1 fish until you can kill it off yourself immediately (e.g. mass hysteria or other board clears) and their devolves are essentially worthless. doesnt take a genius to play around a single card
