hey bro! really appreciate that 🫶 my last apartment was actually student acommodation so the rent was CHEAP af 580€/month 😳 it was a big blessing at the time i got it but this has always been my dream and the opportunity to get to live in an apartment like this while splitting the rent with a good friend could not be passed on 🫡 also i get to up the quality of the videos on the channel so thats a plus too 🤝

i wouldnt say the exact same amount but for me its always just been about solving puzzles and building things and thats exactly what programming is 🤝

@@LukeMadeIt That's probably the exact reason they highly focus more on problem solving and programming logic in CS50 program, of course its an introductory computer science course which teaches you fundamentals core programming principles. And i do feel that when it comes to web dev, no matter how many tools or frameworks you're equipped with it all comes down to data structures, syntax and programming logic to solve the particular problem statement.

hey bro! what i've found is that the location is a HUGE part of how much programmers get paid. i actually have a funny example for you. i live in finland and im a SWE with ~ 1 year 6 months of experience in the industry (including my internships) and someone with the same exact stats as me would literally earn 2.5-3x more if they are in the US and not in Finland. so im assuming thats the same case with Latvia compared to Finland 👀 also other things such as cost of living (price of housing, food etc.) is probably cheaper in Latvia than Finland? But yeah i know how you feel, i get the same feeling when i look at US salaries but thats the name of the game i guess 🤷‍♂️ that said im atm very happy with the pay and work im doing considering i have not even graduated with a bachelors yet 🫡

​@@LukeMadeIt Maybe look into crockpots/slow cookers if you'd want to cook a bunch of food at once for several days? It saves soo much time. I used to hate cooking but nowadays I can just cook 1-2 times a week and it has honestly been a lifechanger.
