I understand that your job maybe stressful, but make sure to plan to get yourself out that situation by getting another job. I just turned 24 this November and I'm so anxious about being 25 next year especially as all my plans when I was 16 has gone to shit. I'm going to finish school at 26 instead of 21 like I planned, I don't have my own apartment and car. I'm staying with my sibling and it's really tough to get them to see you as an adult, I slip into depression occasionally....so tired 😩 😩 but I'm happy I'm alive at least and I'm taking a day at a time cos thinking of the future is stressing me out and making me anxious and depressed. Especially as my agemates and frnds are just getting married, giving birth or moving and none is still in the schooling phase.

I'm 22 living in Nairobi. I didn't move out voluntarily. I got kicked out. Although I was already saving up so I had some money to land on. I moved out with a mattress and my clothes. I started literally from scratch without a job, just prospects that didn't pan out because of Rona.. I work in the entertainment industry and all the gigs just suddenly stopped and my band broke up. I'm now running a start up with very little capital and resources but I know it's going to work out. So I've been jobless and broke but I have peace of mind and I'm happy and grateful for that. I'm glad you are happy.

Wow I can relate to this already. I moved out at 20 and just moved back home a couple months ago due to covid I wanted to save money. Cherish these next 3 years before they fly past you cause they will. 18-25 is building time...people say your twenties is for fun and blah blah but its not, if you just have fun that’s all you’ll have to show for it and by the time you’re 30 you’ll have nothing cause all you did was “have fun” give your best try for the next 3 years! Buckle down! 10 toes down sis! Learn financial literacy, drown yourself in mastering your craft, live and love your passion and WORK WORK WOOOOOORK!!! Be a slave to nothing and you’ll master everything by default! Follow your gut! Save, invest and grow! 25 aint scary unless you did nothing from 18-24 😊

Whew, I was so scared of turning 25...then it happened. Now I'm scared of turning 30 lol. Every day is a blessing but it's good to remind yourself that you're not really old until 50. Take each day at a time. Edit: Dang I didn't realize how sensitive people would be about me saying you're "not really old until 50". It was an exaggeration. Relax. Old age is what you make it.

I'm 23 years old and recently moved out of my parents' house as well. My situation is relatively light because I've moved in with friends. Nonetheless, I have no stable source of income, I'm relying on the business we are starting together. I'll be going back to uni and at my residence there which will be paid by my sponsor. However, I still have to make sure my businesses explode so I can sustain myself and also stay out of my parents' house. Sometimes to succeed we have to burn our bridges (not meaning this in a defiant way to parents, unless necessary). All of this to say keep going 💯💯♥️.
