@@tta1390 Thank you! NEPA will forever stay in the Nigerian vocabulary as long as the Power Authority can't get their acts together. Now if by a miracle, Nigerians start enjoying 24/7 electricity like they ought to, I am sure they will quickly start calling the power authority by it's rightful name. In the meantime, it's NEPA-Never Expect Power Again.
You forgot about the Nigerian women that’s pressed for marriage and will tolerate their husbands cheating, , physical abuse, bringing stds, outside children, etc. just to say that they’re married 😂💀. I love your videos btw 🦋💙
@@godwinejiofor8064 Or maybe view it as constructive criticism if the majority of women experiencing those problems with the men put pressure on them to behave because they will if they have to less of it will happen
@@Introvertsan majority of Nigerian men doesnt behave like that so look elsewhere. It is not by force to marry a Nigerian man and if their women can tolerate them then leave them alone. By the way there are many AA men that are cheaters and there are many AA women that are cheaters too. Not all Nigerian men are cheaters
Ew, your mentality is gross. Please don’t do your fellow igbo men dirty with that nasty attitude when there are enough people that respect themselves and refuse to tolerate rubbish.
Every Nigerian woman needs to be a feminist. My mom is an architect and she always can't believe job descriptions always say Men Only lots of gender discrimination in Engineering, Architecture, Construction and Law(judges) they literally won't even interview you for a job regardless of your extensive qualifications (degree, long experience, best work in the field) simply because you are a woman
As a female engineer in Nigeria, I experienced a lot of discrimination in my early career, I was treated meanly and made fun of by men in the industry until they have to sit because I'm no dumb dumb. Being passed over for jobs where I was the best candidate because I was a lady, and they don't even hide the fact some of the time.
@@chicchi1682 oh there are laws alright, at least labour laws and stuff, but you have to realise most indigenous companies even some multinationals that have been infiltrated by locals know these laws and just ignore them, there are usually no consequences for bad behaviour and cases can disappear when you grease the right hands. When you do complain like I have had to a few times, they tell you "you see why I said female Engineers were trouble" shutting you up by saying girls complain too much and if you have to be in a male profession you need to suck it up. I put up with incredibly toxic behaviour just to have a job, some of the time I wouldn't even tell my husband about some of these issues, because he would take it up with my company and i would more likely be out if a job, and so I just took a lot of nonsense. A few times he did give my bosses a call or 2 to iron out a few issues, they treated me more respectfully afterwards, but there were still some major issues that where swept under the carpet. But having to have my husband call in for me to be treated more respectfully is still an issue. Just imagine what single ladies go through, I faced a lot of sexual harassment from a boss as a single lady, but quiet frankly, I had zero sexual harassment issues the moment I was married. I have a stable and loving marriage. But a lot of not so lucky women put up with a lot of toxic marriages for reasons like this. The protection and respect a marriage would avail you as opposed to the lack of protection and disrespect.
Women should be protected regardless of their marital status. What if they have a family mbr to support? What if they r an American that decides to move to Africa?Scary.
Red looks good on you too. My Dad would always tell me I looked beautiful in red and medium to darker hued blacks should wear red because it compliments our complexion. He was RIGHT!!!
“Micro-aggression”🥲 🤣I don’t know why black people automatically accuse non-whites of racism when they say this. I’m always impressed by well spoken people of all races.
I have a Russian client and she lives here in Texas she said she joined a Russian women's group here in Texas she said they are Soo judgemental and katty however she said when she needs them they are there for her unlike American women . I guess you have to pick your poison..
I heard they deleted a tweet of your president so your government retaliated and shut them down... Idk how it works tho because some of my Nigerian follows are still showing up with content 🤷🏿♀️
3 mins to the end “When there’s this much decadence and wealth in society and there’s such close proximity to it, its easy for people to move 100% mad” I couldn’t have said it better
@@ThePreciouso3 maybe nothing’s happened to you people but it’s stupid and ignorant to assume everything’s okay just because you’re unaffected. wishing someone well is not negative at all. you all should try having some more compassion. god bless ✌🏾
Yesss!! My family is Ivorian and my grandma was a housewife and she had a side business where she traveled and sold stuff in America and France ! They ended distributing they’re 11 kids between America, Africa, and France! So I have cousins everywhere lol😅 I love it!
from Nigeria living in the UK and i still relateeeee 😂 i love this video. Zara you’re giving me gist from home so i know what to expect when i inevitably return (this video is providing experienced big sister advice THANK YOU 😭)
Hello, I enjoyed that lighthearted discussion on the different characters we encounter. I'd like to see vlogs if you're willing to share more of your life 🤞 Also, has anyone ever told you you could totally rock a low fade haircut? Beautiful 🥰 Anywho much success girl (watching from the US lol)
Hi love. I don’t want to be rude or anything but I wish you’d change your saturation levels or something in your videos so your skin color can truly pop. Idk if it’s just me but your skin comes off a little grayish or washed out in this video 🥺
I feel the same way. It looks like her foundation is too light. It’s kinda upsetting because she’s beautiful but it seems like she’s been impacted by the “lighter the better” psychology.
I honestly don't see why someone would dislike this video. She spoke facts. Anyone disliking is probably into the negative part of these categories and doesn't like theybwere indirectly called out! 🥴
Many nigerian girls are homewreckers due to sheer poverty. The interesting thing is that many of them end up becoming the same wives being cheated on by their husbands with younger girls and the cycle continues
I relate To the IJGB....Waoh ur lipstick😎😎Grew up in the States moved To Cameroon for 4 years moved out To the States for a Year and didn't like it couldn't relate anymore.....ended up In France perfect I Love my career My life ..Love the idea of being somewhere with no link or relatives
I've bing watched like 10 of your videos and just realized something. I saw a comment asking "why don't you wash your hair on camera like other natural youtubers (you did btw.. anywho). I just realized you're practicing what you preach, which is minimal manipulation and protective styles.
My daughter is half Nigerian and so this caught my eye. You are so beautiful!!! I had some bad experiences with some of the women so I understand. Keep your head up and just know who you are and don't let anyone get to your mind. Stay strong!
Wao,,,,, had to watched this video all night but it’s worth the efforts. Very educating. I’ve had a bit of experience while abroad so I practically kept to myself while back in Nigeria.
ONE MORE THING I SEEN THE NEGATIVE ENERGY PEOPLE SAYING ABOUT U. U STAY FOCUS HAVE FAITH KEEP LOOKING UP. I GET HATED ON MY SELF BUT THAT MEAN WE DOING SOMETHING RIGHT. STAY STRONG MINDED GOD BUILT U TO WIN SALUTE!!
My sister you are on point I visited nigeria from namibia 🇳🇦 gal I can not forget the painful experience the girls are not friendly and also a gal a born again for that matter shouted at me even her pastor forcing me to worship God the way they want me to do eish!!! Nigeria I really don't want to visit again never they were not caring or respecting what I want
I'm coming to Abuja in a month. Plz tell me where the multi millionaire Nigerian Men are. I need to know where hang outs. I'm so fed up with the broke ones who always try to get me to send them money bcus of where I'm from. Ugh!!
There are a lot rich guys in Abuja but it's known for its sugar boys. They will look extremely handsome, appear rich, drive goods cars but they will be looking for comfortable girls or women to spend on them. They don't have apartments they lodge with different women and when they get kicked out they sleep in their cars. Just be smart. 🤣🤣👏🏼👏🏼. Infact every body is a hustler
Hello everyone hope all is well. Hope we can remember our saviour Jesus Christ of Nazareth who came to die for our sins. We we repent of our sins and be transformed by his words as the kingdom of God is at hand.
Nice video. Can you also talk about spirituality and all rituals Nigerian women are doing just for the sake of having lavish lifestyles and being so called trophy wives/ fire babes? That part is embarrassing yet very important to mention as so many young Nigerian women are selling their souls to the devil for luxurious items and that’s not good. Many of these trophy wives you mentioned have made blood contract and are some deep nasty spirituality…. Please talk about it to bring awareness about that growing and evil part of the Nigerian society.
Ummm! You really need to be sure about this. You have been watching too many Nigerian movies. Yes, some get into it but not as widespread as you are painting.
Jesus love you, he died on the cross for you, accept him as your lord and savior he can change everything. For God so loved the world that he gave his only son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life" (Jn 3:16" But you must repent too. From that time Jesus went about preaching and saying, Let your hearts be turned from sin, for the kingdom of heaven is near. (Matthew 4:17)…
@Crystal Ellis I don't even know why bring that up, when people talk about practicing christanity most times they're talking about the white washed version any ways. Which makes the statement irrelevant in my opinion. And modern christanity is no help to us since it was something to help white ppl gain and keep power over people even if it was originally African. It's lost its original meaning since black people usually go by the white Bible nowadays.
Omg...I can't get past the red matte lipstick you have on in your thumbnail. Can you PLEASE tell what is the name of it, who makes it and where I can purchase...it looks soooo stunning 😍 on you...
Thanks for this video. You're super. That red lipstick is pretty on you. Where in Nigeria does a woman meet a rich, wealthy businessman or politician for marriage or for some sweet sweet sugar. No scammers. No married men. No baby daddy's. No cheaters. No amateurs. No broke college students, 😂. Real professional men, only.
