You’re part at the end about those who were already struggling is what’s getting to me on top of the rest of it. I do pretty well for myself so I know how lucky I am but I’m feeling the pinch so how are people that lost jobs as a result of the pandemic or people who are unable to work due to health reason etc. how are they supposed to cope. This is just terrible and I feel like screaming on a daily basis pretty much. My energy company went bust and they said they’d made a mistake with my readings so I was owe them £2K, then the company that I was moved to took so long to move me over that by the time I got my first bill from them, it was £1200. I got both these bills in the same week. This is shocking, If anyone in the comments is struggling please talk to someone or try to get advice as it can easily build up at the moment just like our Honest Vocal Coach is putting across and it takes a toll, I just hope it gets better soon for everyone. Good luck everyone. We will get there.

I feel this. I'm only 25, I live on my own, and my "big shop" when I run out of everything was like 40 quid a few months ago. Now it's like 70.

Thank you for sharing all. To be this honest beyond being a vocal coach is so appreciative especially in today’s world. There have been so many times that I SO wish I could be speaking right across from you and even give you a hug, I’m not kidding! You’d even be the kind of friend I’d love to have in my life. Now I’m being honest-hope this doesn’t sound weird or crazy-I don’t care, I wanted you to know that I’m sure you’re adored and emotionally touched by so many who crave your kind of authenticity. It's interesting, because I've been trying to have this kind of conversation with my friends. Post-covid, and then the post-recovery have been so difficult to process. It's like we need to keep ourselves in check both during and after work, which then drains us more. (which is why everyone's been unable to talk about this whole madness) And on top of that, we have to worry about additional costs of goods we need much more rapidly than usual. I genuinely thought I was the only one starting to lose his patience these days. On the bright side, a warm bubble bath, and some wine usually does the trick to make things just a tad better. Give it another year, or two. Hope you feel better Georgina!

I am from Russia and the prices there don't grow for 5 weeks already after 25% inflation in march-april. I am scared that they could keep growing later...I am sure they will. I just read that your inflation is about 9%, so I am sure you are gonna be fine! We used to even bigger numbers already. I really hate this whole situation that all these politicians have created... Ordinary people don't want it all. I hope that it will end soon and we will live in peace. But I'm almost hopeless because it gets worse and worse each year. But still I believe it will be fine for everyone, we just have to wait a little bit and try to be optimistic. And sorry for my mistakes. I'm still learning English, probably there are lots of mistakes...

So sorry to hear about it all. I’m in the US but able to watch sky, and understand how bad things are over there right now. We are experiencing rising food prices as well, and gas is very expensive. This will all pass!

Crying helps, it'll take the stress away. Petrol and food also very expensive here in the netherlands. The price of gas and energy is also not normal anymore. It's all insane!

I feel you... The more I work the more everything goes up... except for my pay. My mom and I used to survive okay and had extra for other things but not anymore. It's very disheartening.

Hello Georgina, I love your videos ! You're not someone superficial, you're just natural, transparent, and your personality is just so nice that you don't have to doubt of yourself. We're in a world, where everything is so superficial, only based on physic and social networks, and that's the thing that stressed me the most currently I think. It's so thankful to have people like you, who are yourself as you are, and just that ! I miss that... Anyways, I hope it will soon be better for you. The British world you describe seems so complicated to live, and I totally understand what you can feel. I think the best way to exit is just to remember that nature is beautiful, art and music is beautiful. That's the thing that will save us. So, I wish you the best. Hello there! I'm Italian, I speak fluent English, I speak French Spanish and German and I'm learning new languages. I tell you this to have some context. The right word in french here would be: exutoire. It could also mean colère or diatribe. The definition in this case is: she wants/needs to express her thoughts, emotions and feelings about things she has in mind and are happening to her and in the world that cause her to be stressed out. She is "ranting" about it. In English the word rant doesn't always have a good connotation. In French, in Italian but also in German, Spanish Portuguese and in Romanian, we have a clear distinction between the ways one can rant: it could be "screaming"/"complaining" or it could be "opening up"/"feeling the need to express something". In English the line is a bit blurred 😁 (In English the distinction is not always that defined). If you'd like I could correct the mistakes you made in your amazing comment 🧡 Let me know! Thanks a lot ! Sorry, I didn't see this text, I don't know why ! But thank you, your comment helped me a lot to understand what a rant is. I tkink the "exutoire" translation could be cergy good yes. There is an expression in French to tell that, this would be : "vider son sac". It means "to empty our bag". You say that when you have to talk about your feelings, and it's usually used when you're angry about something and when you get upset. Thanks a lot for your comment. I hope I learnt you something too !

Hi Georgina, we are English but live in Australia and we are thinking of moving back to the Essex area. I was a bit concerned when you mentioned the high cost of living there so I though I’d do a comparison of shopping bills. I did a small on-line shop yesterday (I have covid and so self-isolating) and the 16 items that I purchased came to Aussie dollars $116. The same items on Sainsbury’s on-line shopping came to £46.81 which worked out at today’s rate at Aussie dollars $81.70. So I was well pleased! England here I come!! 👍🏼😄 PS. Petrol is a lot cheaper here though. I hope you are OK 🥰

Petrol costs!! I'm sick to death of wasting endless amounts of cash on petrol! Livid, and I'm fed up of seeing MP's on 80k a year minimum giving everyone advice and telling people..... MP's should be on performance based pay.... Watch Westminster change within minutes. Rant over and still feel annoyed ahhhhhhh! 😂

Girl the price of gas is no better in the US, fortunately, I happen to live near the Gulf of Mexico in New Orleans so I'm closest to the oil rigs so it helps a lot... Unfortunately, these crazy people in California paying upwards to $6 to $7 a gallon (which is roughly 5 £ to 6 £ for y'all!) But I realize that y'all pay a heck of a lot more a gallon than we do! And believe me I have those days where nothing goes right and everything that could go wrong will!

Petrol in Sweden is twice as high. But no strikes in busses and such. All is super expensive and it gives me much anxiety, I can pay at the time. But those who can’t. What should they do?

Also be grateful you're not in London, with the whole polio scare that just went on there... That's unreal that we have to think about polio in this day and age. Fortunately, none have been found, but the fact that it's a scare is enough to make you wonder!

I hope you are feeling more positive after your rant! I find it really helps to share your worries and your stress - you are not alone. I'm sure you know that sometimes things are outside of our control, just remind yourself - it will be ok! But equally it's hard to tell yourself that when you're caught up in a moment which is stressing you out and impacting on your day. Decompress and keep smiling - you do an amazing job. I feel you I got stressed every day I’m dealing with lot’s of failures over the last year and sometimes it’s hard. Get some time off do something that makes you feel good, ignore things that you can’t control right now.

Gas here in new york is $4.85 a gallon which is really high for us ... Which would probably really cheap for you but I understand the frustration this war in Ukraine has really impacted the whole world and we have Putin to blame ... The price of everything has risen which adds more stress to us who are already struggling but we will get through this ... We always do ... So we just have to keep our heads up and keep pushing through.

Had to come back to this vlog so I could rant. Covid has hit my daughters care home again. The staff are testing positive daily. My daughter is 26 but a mental age of a 6 yr old but an understanding of her age. Complicated. she’s incredible. She has complex special needs and chronic heart disease ( managed great since her mechanical heart valve was fitted). She wanted more independence and moved 3 yrs ago. Now the home is on restrictions again. I struggled to the point of my depression rearing it’s ugly head again when I went 18 months not visiting through lockdown. Now we can’t visit again. Yes FaceTime is great daily but not the same. Just wanted to rant that covid go away and leave us alone. I lost my adopted daughter through covid and still trying to deal with that. Rant over. Xx
