Though my brain told me that I had better things to do with my time, I found myself clicking on this video. Though it lasted 5 minutes and 51 seconds, it made me feel as if time had just stopped for me to get a message from this. It was so moving that I found myself hit the back button to spend an extra 5 minutes and 51 seconds just to listen to this over again. Time well spent.
My husband died 4 years ago of a major heart attack. We were good members of the Lds church. Now I am with a boyfriend who turned his back on the church . I want so much to have my good Lds life back.This song means so much. It’s humbling and reminder of just how much I love him and need my savior. All I want is a good full life in the church I love so much. This helps me to have hope that I am on the right path.

I'm sorry to hear yr husband died. Our hope and strength comes from the Lord. I strongly believe he is in heaven if he believed in Jesus, and will see him again someday. Now the newer guy, I can totally understand where your coming from, bec. I have a bf that also turn his back at church. But I'm constantly going no matter if he liked it or not. Well we broke up and got back together and he's going more often now. Praise God. But just stay consistent dear, and you will see him be more like you. Krissy may God bless you and keep you. Thank you for sharing. I have sweet memories of the beauty in this song. I have fallen away but am walking back to the Lord, so I know that the Holy Spirit never leaves us. He is always reminding us that we only need to ask for his help, & the wonders of the Lords love will change our lives eternally. Praise God Almighty. His love never ends.

I need Jesus every hour, not for Him to do this or that for me, but just to be beside me to be my friend, my Savior and most importantly my Lord. He is all that I need.

Good that you have a way to cope. I say a little prayer and try to visualize the temptation as a great monster or enemy to defeat and that gives me strength through Jesus to carry on, and I can testify He'll do the same for you, in His Me, Even our Rock and Salvation, Amen.
Doothless...In 1993, I vacationed in Salt Lake. During my time there, I visited Mormon Tabernacle, and had the honor of sitting in on one of their rehearsals. It literally blew me away...I will cherish that moment in time.
It's Tabernacle Choir of Temple Square is the new name now. When i listen to their songs, the Holy Spirit of Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ are present. We need Them every hour in our life.
I lost my mom 2 years ago. As she was dying I played this for her and she seemed to settle. I played this at her funeral as her coffin left to go to the cemetary. It holds a dear place in my heart ❤ the words bring me peace.
I suffer really badly with Mental Health Disorder and daily thoughts of sucide I used to be able to talk to my mum but she’s gone now I cry a lot every day i come here to try and get some comfort this was one of my mums favourites

I was born into the LDS church 70 years ago. I am the very last of that pioneer generation that crossed the plains from 1848 to 1853. My great grandfather is Lorenzo Snow, I'm related to Joseph Smith, Brigham Young, Eliza Roxy Snow, the Meachams, the Bigelows and the Derbys. I am so proud of my courageous ancestral families. They were my models for leading a good and moral life. I am LDS and always will be.

When I need it, I am reflecting on the blessings of God and for being grateful to his infinite love, my heart rejoices for such actions of gratitude. Whenever I hear the way the instrumental is played and the choir comes to me, it is a nostalgic moment of joy but also of longing. My grandfather was the founder and conductor of choir for over 60 years. Listening to this hymn brings me those moments that I could have learned from him ... What I know and am learned from my grandfather .... I miss that time. Today he meets the Eternal Lord and Father in heaven ....

Heila Greyling The most beautiful worship music. My mother and father had Mormon Tabernacle Choir Long Playing records on the farm in the Easter Cape Province in South Acrica. We cherished them. To this day I treasure the Choir's music and now I listen on my smart phone. The big attraction, of course, is the maghificant Organ. Thank you for the music.
