@@TalesfromVirginia I've never heard that before! 😳 even then, like stated, it's "advised". My husband was born into the church, he was my highschool sweetheart, he baptized me into the church on my 18th birthday, and married me the year after that. I'm so grateful. ❤
I was led by the spirit to say a hello to you as a member of this noble church of christ . May the keep us all as we continue to worship in online accord , Amen. I work and live in England …. expecting a reply from you though .
Have you thought about joining us at church? As a convert (a little over 2 yrs ago) I can tell you that when you leave you will not be the same! I can Testify to you that The Book of Mormon is TRUE. Pray to Heavenly Father to know!
Saludos!
These songs are soothing to my troubled soul. The day I joined the Church & was baptized was one of the best days of my life. So much peace. I got away from Church over time. Worst thing I did. I miss it. I am going to get stronger in the Church again.
I'm trying. I'm a convert to the church. I desire to serve as a missionary for His true church, so badly. I keep falling short, and just passed my three year mark of trying to go on a mission. Until the day I turn 25 I will never stop. Thank you for posting this wonderful song. Exactly what I needed!
@@apostolic.2023 crazy coincidence. I'm going to the temple this morning and had this song in my head. Looked it up and saw this comment. I had completely forgotten about it. Thank you for your inquiring! No, unfortunately it did not work out with going on a mission. However, I did make it out of the rough patch I was going through and as mentioned, headed to the temple. Lifes good, even if it's hard to see at the time 😊. Hope you have a wonderful day!
@@ericcobb8225 you're still able to serve a mission! There's also a service mission, at least you had the desire to serve which is great. Service missions are the same as proselytizing missions.
@@ericcobb8225 I strongly recommend you talk to your Bishop about a service mission. If you're worthy to serve a proselyting mission, a service mission can bring you just as many blessings. I'm on one now and it's been such a blessing in my life! The Lord knows your heart and the desire you have to serve Him, as well as your attempts in the past to do so with a mission. You can still realize that desire with a mission, even if it works a little differently from what you're likely most familiar with.
I am a jack morman, but always find myself coming back to these songs. The only time i have felt the spirit is when i listen to these beautiful hymns ❤ thank you to the choir
The Church is true, the people...less so. Some of us wear our sins more outwardly than others, some are extremely judgemental, and some would have you believe their life is perfect in every way. I can honestly say that I miss testimonies just like yours. Sons and daughters of God who aren't afraid to ask genuine questions, real heart-felt questions about faith and discipleship. Conversion is a journey, easier for some than others. I hope your journey finds you at the feet of our Lord and Savior. Thanks for your testimony Brother.
I would like to invite you to read the Book of Mormon and to pray and asks for God the Father in the Name of Jesus Christ to know if this church is true I know if you do you will feel God's love and his Holy spirit and that he will answer your prayers:)
Peace and grace of Christ, we are a Moroccan family, we left Islam and followed Jesus. The Lord guided me to know the Prophet Joseph Smit, and I believed in him and all his books. I want to get baptism, but I haven't found it for two years and I've been searching. I pray to Jesus the Savior to arrange for my brothers to help me and my family baptize. I have a beautiful story that I wish to share with the brothers.
Hi, thanks for tuning in, we're glad you're here! Missionaries can help answer your questions, teach you more about Jesus Christ, and help you understand how to prepare for baptism to join the Church. To talk to missionaries, submit a request here: www.comeuntochrist.org/contact-us?cid=42001274
I, along with my Ward Friends sang this Hymn prior to my being Rebaptized in Feb 2023 after leaving the Church for more than 10 years. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Lord's Kingdom on Earth. I Appreciate my membership so much more after going through trials without the Lord at my side and the Fellowship of my Loving ward Family.❤
I appreciate all comments. These songs are for all of Gods Children 😊No matter what religion you are, no matter who you are. We ALL are the 2/3 who Chose to be here 😊May We all soften our hearts and come together as one and Rejoice in Our Heavenly Father and his Plan of Salvation that leads into exaltation. I Testify that He Lives!
The memory of mum waiting for me outside nursery in 1958 are still .well one of the best times in my life to remember .mum believed in Jesus thanks for teaching me mum xxx you taught me well
Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has been such a blessing in my life. One of the first times I remember feeling the Spirit powerfully was singing this song with our Ward choir growing up.
You feel the spirit because its speaking of truths, the lords spirit can only touch us when something is good or true, and the song is about the most amazing truth! It is speaking about the restoration of the savior's true church... Which has blessed my family and I soo much! You can learn more here or ask missionaries in ur area to serve and teach u more here, theyll bless your life soooo much!!! like they did mine :) www.mormon.org/
I'm Restoration RLDS, and this song is one that always unites our faiths. It is powerful and I can't help but sing along and think about the dedication of the Kirtland Temple. What a beautiful rendition. Thank you!!
Anyone who does their best to follow the commandments and asks of God will learn the truth. We must put our faith in God's plan of Love. too many let their faith rely on the faith of others. and when someone they look up to slips, it can be devastating to their personal faith. Trust in the Lord! He knows our circumstance better than anyone. Let the holy spirit Guide. I love you and may God bless you.
I had the opportunity to the Messiah with choir when I was 17 it will be and experience that I will never for get. I am now 70. I now have a cousin who sings in it I am so proud of him , tell everyone I know he is in the Tenant section.
I'm indeed greatful to our heavenly father for being member of a true church ,The church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints, and I testify that The book of Mormon is true, another Testament of Jesus Christ.
I hope I am not pushy with this comment but I would love to invite you to Read the Book of Mormon and the bible and to continue to pray and ask him for help to find love and peace. I am happy that tabernacle choir songs are helping you I hope you are doing good now adays even though I don't know you

Yes I finally found videos that does not contain false accusations about the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints :) I'm very blessed that I became a member and a fully-pledged member of the restored church of our Heavenly Father...
The sprit of God is like a fire burning.Real fire ..... How blessed the day when the Lamb n the lion shall lie down together..... And Angels are beginning to visit the earth... The visions n blessings of old are returning oh my God.Armies of heaven ....
Singing this during the dedication of the Las Vegas Temple was and still is the highlight of my life. It was a feeling I could never forget, or deny. It IS true.
My God bless this Choir as they go about the 🌎 doing His work and Singing His Songs!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My He also Bless them with His Perfect Health and Musical abilities!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Being a member from the Salt Lake City area, I do have to say, this choir is beautiful to listen to online, but I want all of you who read this to make an effort to come see them in person if possible! I’ve been to a session or two in salt lake, there is a special spirit about seeing it live.
@Richardson Victor, we would love for you to be able to see general conference and the Tabernacle Choir in person. October 2020 general conference and weekly Choir performances are currently virtual-only due to the pandemic, but continue watching for updates to learn how you can attend these events in person in the future. Take care! newsroom.churchofjesuschrist.org/article/october-2020-general-conference-virtual
tyson skaggs the virus is the only thing that kept me from hearing the choir in person in 2020. COVID-19 had to spoil my plans. I. Hoped to be there in April 2020, then rescheduled for October and alas! I will see Utah for the first time, but can’t see the choir at Temple Square nor see the prophets in person.
I remember singing that in a chapel a little East of Rochester, NY when the Palmyra Temple was dedicated. Everyone in the room gave 💯% to praise the Lord when we sang that hymn. It was loud, but even more importantly, I think most of us felt like we were not alone. It was as if the choirs of heaven were singing with us. Those that be with us are more than those that be with them!
I LOVE YOU GUYS I LOVE THE Mormons the music Missionaries.. Everytime I see them .makes me love the lord more and more. Very fond of my childhood memories .I love God 🙏
I converted to the LDS faith almost 50 years ago and always wanted to see the Tabernacle Choir sing live. Then, I finally got to see them. It was at the Disney Auditorium in LA. I felt as if I were looking at a large conduit of brightness, along with the spiritual feeling of something sacred simultaneously. I will never forget that extra dimension present, emanating from a group of people who sang flawlessly as a divine machine of oneness.
Hearing this, makes you feel the real power of God! I'm so grateful, for being a member of God's true church😊🙏🎶 God is good, all the time as my Mother, always says! She's so right.👍
The Spirit of God like a fire is burning! The latter-day glory begins to come forth; The visions and blessings of old are returning, And angels are coming to visit the earth. Chorus We'll sing and we'll shout with the armies of heaven, Hosanna, hosanna to God and the Lamb! Let glory to them in the highest be given, Henceforth and forever, Amen and amen! 2. The Lord is extending the Saints' understanding, Restoring their judges and all as at first. The knowledge and power of God are expanding; The veil o'er the earth is beginning to burst. 3. We'll call in our solemn assemblies in spirit, To spread forth the kingdom of heaven abroad, That we through our faith may begin to inherit The visions and blessings and glories of God. 4. How blessed the day when the lamb and the lion Shall lie down together without any ire, And Ephraim be crowned with his blessing in Zion, As Jesus descends with his chariot of fire!
The ultimate theme song for Latter Days Saints. Glory be to God! He is always watching over us and has a plan for all of his children. I love him now and forever!
It's great when you listen to this beautiful hymn and then go down to the comments section and all the people feel the same way as you... i just love being LDS
I've worked this hymn into the liturgy of the Presbyterian church I play for and it has become one of their favorites! (and mine too!) I love this arrangement of it, especially when performed by this choir!!!
I was so blessed to be there that morning. There were missionaries behind me singing along. The Spirit there was so strong and powerful, i felt so strengthened. A moment i will never Ever forget is my Dad being in that Choir and seeingon the screen, the tears and his testimony in his eyes near the end of this Beautiful song. Knowing my little brother was watching it from his mission was an absolute joy to me.
I like it so much! i`m happy to be a new member of the true church here on earth! i thank the sister`s who teach me about the restored gospel! i`m so blissful and i have my chance to return to our heavenly father to be with him!

Hi Nicolás, thanks for your comment. This is a wonderful song, we're glad you enjoy the video. We hope you know you are missed and needed, and always welcome to return! www.churchofjesuschrist.org/general-conference/2018/10/believe-love-do?lang=eng
Oct 1999 when this song was performed in the old Tabernacle. I got my testimony to the truth of the Book of Mormon. I always have a love for this hymn. The power and inspiration of this hymn sends shivers down my spine every time I hear it.
I grew up Morman and just really needed to hear that right now !!! I lost my sister growing up and remembered this. It was her b-day and just needed something... Thanks 👍
Hi, thank you for tuning in and sharing your comment. We are sorry for the loss of your sister and hope the hymn was able to uplift you. We also hope that you always remember that you are always welcome at church. Visit comeuntochrist.org to find a Church unit or meetinghouse near you, or to request a visit from missionaries.
@@churchofjesuschrist I'm still a member and my family always makes sure I have home teachers. I'm not perfect by any means, but the one thing I love about the Morman church is that they continuously preach family and that's one thing that I continue to do with mine. Family game night is a staple in my family. Thanks for the response I honestly appreciate it !!!
Steel Curtain it is wonderful that you have continued Family Home Evening with game nights. I know it has blessed our family. I’m sure your sister loves you very much and is closer than you think. I invite you to come back we need you and you would never regret it. So many more blessings are waiting for you.
I love the Tabernacle choir at temple square. Someday I will go to see them preform live. I am a blessed and happy member of the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints, since 1978 September 14. I listen to the scriptures set to music every day and I am happy to be where I am supposed to be with Jesus Christ and heavenly Father.i keep repenting every time I need to.i go to Sacrament meeting every Sunday morning and I love it too much to allow myself to get away from the LORD,s truths. I make too many mistakes and have to repent myself daily sometimes. It's all worth it. I love to feel the warmth of the LORD,s HOLY Spirit every time.
Always makes me think of the dedication of the Kirtland Temple and the miracles that were associated with that dedication. Visions, Angels, and the Spirit of God being poured out upon the saints like a fire from heaven.
This will always be my favourite hymn. Despite the fact I have fallen away from church, I still miss so many things...If only I could go back in time...
I have not fallen away, but were dealing with a lot of feelings and things that I don't understand or comprehend. I had to really learn to not lean on my own understanding. But stay focused on my testimony and the things I knew to be true. Wishing you all the best
It's been eight years since this comment. I hope you are well and happy :) If not here's a quick message that God loves you and to quote a great talk, the word "can't" is false doctrine. You can always come back, we need every soul and Christ is a worker of miracles. Either way, God be with you! ❤
You don't have to go back in time. You're forgiven. It is NEVER too late! Don't wait until the Lord is in front of you. He wants you right now, the way you are. He wants to make your life so good, he loves you so much. His heart breaks for his children who feel this way, they're deceived thinking it's too late. Come back to him, he never left you.
A staunch LDS and converted Christian. I love The Lord our Saviour Jesus Christ. I pray i live for God and always to have the holy spirit 🙏. Botswana 🇧🇼
my favorite hymn and fav song after been inactive for some years my first time back to church God played this song i cried i iwsh they sing this in heaven when i make it one day God is good amen
You may see and hear for yourselves how the Fullness of The Gospel of Jesus Christ is being'preached' to all mankind. I daily pray that the Holy Spirit will continue to spread the word, that the Lord will continue to remove the scales from the spiritual eyes of all of His people, and that He will continue to soften the hearts of all.
I first heard this years ago and when those three gentlemen sang together it brought so much love to my heart. And here years later when I hear it again I still feel so much love surrounding me. I love this song and this church.
We set our own standards as we grow and our desires and strengths change as we move forward. DC 25 12 A song is like a prayer to God. It sure feels good.
This is by far my all-time favorite version and song of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. I was so blessed to hear it in person from my balcony seat and I was driven to tears! Powerful!
I love you god and his son Jesus there is only light in life and i have no time for the darkness anymore the more older I become the closer I get to the truth.and to the door way which one day I will walk through and return to my real home which I left sometime ago when I was born always sing your praises to god and Jesus and only them then you can walk through the door with me remember he said who ever believes in Jesus will never die that his promise
We learned this hymn to sing at the Cardston Temple rededication some years ago and I took my children. It was hard to sing, so full of the Spirit . . It brings me to tears every time I hear it sung! The Majesty, the Spirit, the positive strength, the overwhelming assurance of LOVE ❤️!
It's hymns like these that really make you feel the spirit and the love God has for you :) This song gives me strength to be the best me I can be everyday, because I know that I have a great purpose on this Earth...to serve my Heavenly Father.
