The best part their romance, is that Mr Farouk is so stern, strict, and grumpy, and Mr Ajayi is literally a ray of sunshine. Total opposites attract! Mr Farouk gives the impression of being very “in charge and in control”, while Mr Ajayi is soft and gentle and willing to follow Mr Farouk’s lead. That is, until their romance blossoms in Paris, and suddenly the roles reverse. They are no longer Mr Ajayi and Mr Farouk. They are Nathan; experienced, and probably out since high school (definitely self aware since a teenager), and Yussef; newly out, inexperienced, but willing to take a chance. It’s all very sweet!
