I saw on tittok someone saying it was cringe that Nick kept saying "I'm bi actually" and that annoyed me so much because anyone who comes out as bi knows how annoying it is (moreso with older people) having people constantly invalidate you, call you greedy or straight out just say your gay or "pick a side". Anyone who said that was cringey has been blessed to not have that experience

4:34 as a bisexual myself, I absolutely hate anyone who does what David did. To invalidate someone's sexuality by saying, "if you're gonna be gay, at least admit you're gay," is bi erasure and it's just as bad as homophobia, racism, and sexism. Edit: sorry for making a comment focused on David's abhorrent attitude. This video is awesome, just that phrase riles me up every time. Sadly its in a series i thoroughly enjoy. On the other hand, I can use the series as an example of horrible things to say toward bisexuals, so I'll have to forgive Heartstopper for using it.

The outfits for nick and charlie were so spot on to the comics, especially the pairs day where charlie fainted - I LOVE THE DETAIL. You know everyone who works on this show genuinely loves it and I love that.

We don’t talk about Nick’s (and by extension, Kit’s) little giggle enough. It’s the cutest little thing ever and it makes me smile when I hear it, especially at the start of season 2, episode 1. Okay, that’s all Edit: also Tao going into mother mode at the sight of the hickey is one of my favorite scenes ever

I swear the hugs are cuter than the kisses. Especially when Nick hugs Charlie, idk why i love it so much.

Nick deserves all the credit he gets but like Charlie is under appreciated. He is so ridiculously patient with Nick and so supportive of his journey and contributes amazingly to their great communication.

I really appreciate the fact that Ben's assault on Charlie is openly discussed and acknowledged as assault. So many shows make a commonality of assault and don't care to recognize its severity - Nick's continued upset towards Ben, and Charlie's arc towards healing from it, is incredibly refreshing!

Tori is always awesome. But she gets 2 really good moments. Season 1 where she comforts and tells Charlie "you're not ruining my life" and Season 2 where she doesn't say a thing, she's just so happy that her brother is happy! Of course, kicking the phone out of David's hands is pretty epic too!

Nick Nelson is the boyfriend everyone deserves, Kit plays him so well, I adore their chemistry and hope they stay together throughout the series, it's been beautifully done so far. Rooting for them!

What is it about this Netflix show Heartstopper? My 14-year-old son came out to me this year. Me and my wife did everything right. We raised all our children gay!❤❤. That's everything parents dream!. Charming story! Season 2 did not disappoint. Charlie and Nick have more courage, strength, and class than most of the people I know.❤❤❤ It was lovely to see a character like Nick calling his older brother a child. Without hesitation or reservation Nick states,I like who I am and I like my life! I wish more young people would say that with truth ,courage, and conviction! Being gay, lesbian, bi, transgender, and queer has nothing to do with shame, hate, or disgust. It is about living one's truth and being able to live one's life in peace, love and the pursuit of happiness! Nothing worse then pretending to be something you are not. A life lived in fear is no life,a life half lived.
