I loved that you took the time to show how you used the Wagner equipment. I think a lot of gals are intimidated to try using the sprayer. I love the pop up spray booths. Nice choice in color and knob choices! I am going to try the Behr paint. Anyone who get this set for a $100 bucks is getting a steel. This is my favorite kind of videos. Thank you for sharing.💖💖💖💖

Christine, if you cut the screws inside a clear plastic bag or a large Ziploc bag it would catch the pieces for you, so they don't shoot across the room. Love this project and the color you choose.

They’re beautiful! And the staging makes the knobs pop. You are waayyy underpricing them though. I think you’ll be overwhelmed by the response. I think even $250 for the pair is very inexpensive. 💞💞

I have found that using a small plastic bag over the screw and the cutter keeps them from flying all over the place .Hope this helps everything stays in the bag . Prayers 🙏 and Love 🤟 From Oklahoma

Great goal to clean out your storage unit! Not easy to do I'm sure. I love the colour of these end tables. I flipped a lot of furniture to clean out my garage this summer to help pay for flights for my kids to see their grandparents. I used a similar color. Black seems to sell very well! I also used the same hardware that I had ordered from Amazon here in Canada. My husband uses his Dremel to cut the screws to the right size for me. Sometimes when I use the cutters, it dulls the end and I can't use the screw. So if you have a Dremel, it's a great tool but make sure you're wearing safety glasses!!! 😂

I did not have good results using this paint in my pantry door. I rolled it. I ended up going to SW and buying their alkyd product. It saved the project for me. Your project looks great. I think spraying is the way to go. ❤

I had same issues with Dunn Edwards alkaloid paint I used for kitchen cabinets and had to switch to Sherwin Williams alkaloid but the SW paint off gassed for two months and I'm very sensitive to smells.

Those turned out great! Thanks SO MUCH for the in-depth tutorial on the sprayer. I’m actually working on a pair of nightstands, spraying them in cracked pepper and couldn’t figure out why when the paint dried it felt like 80 grit sandpaper! It has been high 90s and 100% humidity where I am. I will definitely wait until it cools off before attempting again.

Cut the hardware scews inside an empty 5-gallon bucket. Might make it easier. Question. Why did you fill the wood worm holes without removing the paint over them first? Seems counterproductive. I love this paint color, and I think I may do the Wagner sprayer you were using. Seems to really do the job well. Good result.

Love how these turned out! The paint color looked like it had an almost blue hue with the black on screen. Was it totally black in person? Loved that color. I have never redone furniture before. I would love to learn. Do you know if the brand paint you used on this was like the Beyond paints that takes zero prep work? Thanks!

It's a very dark gray that look black in person. The camera always overexposes black. 🤦‍♀️ This paint is not like Beyond Paint. You need to prep with a primer or scuff sand before applying.

Hi Christine, I noticed you didn't prime the piece first. How will this affect the durability of the paint? You are the reason that I have ventured into painting my own furniture, with the Wagner sprayer, of course 🥰

Good observation. There is no primer needed with this paint if you are going over a previously painted surface that was prepped correctly. It has good adhesion so I only needed to scuff sand the existing finish lightly for this paint to adhere. Thanks for watching.

I prefer the HGTV Sherwin Trim and Door from Lowe’s. But I’ve heard this one has really great durability…we will see.

Does your storage unit have air conditioner ? I live in NY and maybe I shouldn’t be worried about the mold because of the furnitures will not be ruined during the 4 seasons all year round. Not very heavy humid like south, a few times for a short time in the summer.

Mine does not. It was really only meant to hold the furniture for a couple of weeks to a month as I was flipping a piece every week.

Any old plastic 16 oz container paint top will work. Mine specifically is Dixie Belle paint. But Lilly Moon paint would work, too.
