What makes resident evil 4 so good is it builds on the core mechanics introduced in resident evil 4, but also includes elements from resident evil 4. It’s the second best game that begins with the letter R.

Dude you're so right about the merchant, the dude makes me smile every time I meet him. At first you're like "fuck this dude is chatty" but he becomes really comforting to come back to - much like the original but different.

I like this format. I think I'll always the miss the more frequent main channel uploads, when you were toying around with your style and making rap reviews or w/e, but if this is how we get to hear more of what you think about games, that'll be great. You're definitely more than a yoga ball and a green screen, the way you look at this stuff is what really sets you apart

This is one of my favorite videos of yours Jakey. It reminds me of your videos about Bioshock and Dark Souls where you were just in your bed talking to the camera about how they impacted you. There's something so personal and natural about this style of video that makes it feel comforting in a way. Would definitely love to see you put out more videos in this style.

The opening to Resident Evil 4 is the best opening of any video game. The slow build up from “something is wrong here” to being attacked by the whole village and a chainsaw wielding maniac is insane. It’s iconic.

It doesn’t matter what format the content comes in, your passion for whatever you wish to talk about is what keeps me coming back.

We really don't get this kind of chill, cozy, simple content on RU-vid anymore. Most youtubers don't wanna do it since it doesn't get crazy high retention/ctr, but all of us here watching really appreciate it. It's fun to just relax and talk about something you love. It's not gonna make a lot of ad revenue, but to us who are here it means the world.

This simplistic format without all the fun green screen stuff is surprisingly satisfying as well. so your passion seems to be the core value that makes your stuff magical

In 2005, I purchased a Game Cube just so I could play Resident Evil 4. Ended up playing it 13 times on the cube, once on the PS4 and once on the Xbox One. This year, I ended up playing the RE4 remake and Separate Ways at least five times. Very close to the best game ever made. I feel it's between Elden Ring and RE4 for me.

I just want to say I absolutely love videos like this one here. The chill atmosphere and just you being super open and honest about whatever the video topic is is just amazing. Would totally be down for more videos like this.

Yo. I've worked in the games industry for 20 years. You wanna know if your content is good? Your take on so many parts of the industry, from how it operates to design decisions is scarily spot-on. I've worked on MMOs, AAA games and a ton of Indie. I've been in Publishing, I've run marketing departments, I've been a Development Director and now I run my own studio. Your ability to dismantle games is amazing. In your main channel, your broader videos have me sat here nodding along and agreeing with you and being shocked how well you see things behind the curtain. The amount of correct in the "age of broken video games" is astounding. You'd be surprised how few people understand the reality of the modern games industry. It sure as hell aint 2003 no more. This form is more detailed and emotionally driven and it shows how much you genuinely love games. I'd love to see you break down games more - as long as the passion is there. And then there's your Halo 3 content where you answer the age old question - just how hung IS Dobby? Either way your talent and passion is rare and legit. Can't wait to see more.

First time I played was at the local mall’s GameStop on the GameCube. I will never forget the moment you walk into that shack early on, everything’s normal what we, and you turn around and there’s a dead dude hanging off the wall. I almost shit myself in that GameStop on that day.

To put into perspective how passionate you feel in this video, when talking about the game it feels like one of Dunkey's videos when he's sincere about a game. Like one of his videos on a mainline Mario game. It comes off that you're passionate and that you actually care about the game and that you really do love it.

I think this and the Dark Souls Saved Me videos are two of my favourites because you can really feel that you're speaking right from the heart on a topic you're passionate about. I dunno if you should do it for every game, but any game or movie or whatever you have especially strong feelings about, either positively or negatively would probably work well in this format.

Part of the appeal of your main channel videos is the structure and pacing and editing, but this still provides the other part to me which is the candor, authenticity, passion, , well founded perspectives and the feeling of just talking games with a good friend or brother. So in short I think these kinds of videos have a lot to offer and I’d be happy to see more of them.

I honestly love this format. I know you are genuine and think out your videos but this format is nice because you really get to see how much you love video games and just a flow of consciousness.
