it comes to me that jakey's videos are a way for me to remember certain parts of my life or to keep track of times. when I first watched this vid I was living with a shitty roommate (though they could argue i was also shitty) and really down in the dumps. drinking almost a liter of vodka a day (750 ml is what i drank) and just using that to cope with not having a job; having just moved out of my dads house for the first time; being unemployed; and just the everyday stuff (anxiety and depression) and here, a whole year and a half later I've moved out of that place. I'm back living with my dad I just got fired from my job because I had a sprained ankle and couldn't lift the 100lbs they wanted me to and I am drunk. nothing got better for me. but now I'm back rewatching this video and it takes me back. thanks for reading if you did.

I just now remembered how when i was young me and my sisters would sit in my basement every halloween and watch halloween town instead of going trick or treating because i didn't like getting dressed up in costumes. Looking back at it i now realize that they watched it with me not because it was actually a great movie, but because they wanted to do something with me as a tradition. Its a really sweet memory and thank you for bringing it back jakey. As the younger brother in a family with two older sisters i always felt left out but that memory reminded me of when they really cared about my interests.

Idk if any gen z’ers relate to this but my experience with DCOMs was staying up until 3 am every night at age like 8 just to watch Double Team, The Color Of Friendship and idk the dirt bike one which I’m fairly sure made me bisexual and essentially 90% of the ones Jakey mentioned bc Disney only played one of them at the literal witching hour every night. They were the first reasons why I stayed up later than my mom wanted me to & they honestly got me through a really rough time when I was a youngin’. So thanks jakey you made me cry on a Monday night

Especially, I love to watch some original series like 'Hannah Montana' and series about two guys landed on the island (I can't remember the name of it). Also in Russia (I an Russian) there was first Russian original Disney series called 'LOLs During Break' (in Russian the name is Приколы на переменке) about teenagers in American-styled Russian school. It was stupid, but I love it
