If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I have been DYING for a change with my hair. I had an appointment scheduled this week for color, but cancelled because I'm a chicken lol. But a ton of you recommended that I try out As I Am's Curl Color Collection. I must say I am very impressed. Thank you to all who recommended this product.
I talk a lot in this video, but I will be explaining my past experience with another brand of hair color wax.

I was thinking the same thing. I could never. Lol! I've watched a lot of videos of people saying the white flakes bad. And it does lol I have that exact wax. I used it as a loose natural and it flaked so bad. It washes out easy. But I haven't tried on locs. Wax sticks, and my locs are thick, so it's more likely that it'll be harder to wash out the thicker the loc.

Love this color! So pretty 😍 I've tried the gold from the curls brand. Tbh it gets all over your collars and anything your hair touches. That's the only down side to it and my work uniform is all black

And thank you for watching! The transfer was pretty bad at first. I only noticed it on my hands, I didn’t see much on my clothes. It didn’t fully dry until the next day. But after it dried it wasn’t as bad

Hello! This is my first time watching your videos. Your locks are so beautiful. I recently purchased the same silver product. I used it on blown out hair. I expected it to be shinier or more metallic looking. It looks good but since my hair is gray in spots already, I didn’t get that WOW effect! Your hair shows the color much better than mine.

Thank you! ❤️ I’m not sure if you saw it yet, but I uploaded the review today! For sleeping I just put my bonnet on. I didn’t notice transfer on my clothes but I always noticed it on my hands. I pretty much had to always wash my hands after I touched my hair

I have instant locs but looking at ur locs makes me want to get microlocs but I have 4c texture so it might be a bad idea

I love me some 4C hair! It looks bomb with any type of locs!

I have microlocs on my 4c hair. I've had relaxed, chemical-free, heat-trained, and microloc'd hair. The key with 4c hair is to keep it moisturized and strong. I think some people feel limited with 4c hair but for so long there weren't products for us. Now there is Twelve Twelve, Mielle's Pomegranate & Honey line, Camille Rose and more fantastic products out there (many of which are conveniently sold at Target). If you really want microlocs, go for it!

How did the product dry in your hair? I tried the red when I was loose natural it looked like I actually dyed my hair , but hair hair never dyed all the way.

i love using hair paint wax when my twists are old but not so old that they need a wash. i actually think it comes out better/flakes less when you use it on hair that isn't wet! i use the ors hair paint wax in sangria. i be feeling like a whole new person!
