Its the final day of the kayak bass fishing trail and challenge series championships on infamous lake guntersville! I am currently sitting in 7th place going into the final day, in check range!
I am still looking for that first big win!! Guntersville in october is one of my favorite lakes to fish, and I have a lot of confidence going in!

Kristine, I learned to bass fish on Guntersville back in the 70's when I was a teen. Bass fishing has been a lifetime hobby for me. I live on Lake Conroe in Willis, TX now. Bought a Hobie PA12 last spring after owning multiple boats throughout my life. Caught more bass out of my Hobie then out of any other vessel I have owned. Where you are fishing on Guntersville looks just like where I fish on Lake Conroe, i.e. a lot of grass. Bigger bass are finally moving into the shallows here on Conroe. Looking forward to watching more of your videos.

Congratulations. Your videos inspired me to purchase a Hobie PA 14 this year. Was thinking of taking my kayak to lake guntersville. What would you recommend as a good boat ramp to launch from?

You should! Some of my fav areas would be browns, spring creek, goose pond and seabold down south, I like rose berry mud and crow for mid lake and anything on the main river up north!
