I NEGOTIATED for a NEW TRUCK & this HAPPENED

This is Ron knows stuff. I went to buy a new truck and this is what happened. I am not a used car dealer or a new car dealer. I am a fleet buyer and buy about 100 truck and cars a year. I use those experiences to know when, it’s time to buy something new. Join me on this journey of buying a new truck and getting a great deal. I will show you what to look for, what to avoid, and when to ask for a bigger discount. New truck shopping is not fun but with patience, it can be rewarding, take your time do you research, and be prepared to say no. We said no to two dealers before we got to the yes. We were prepared to walk. we were prepared to buy a different brand. Buying at the end of the month should give you a better price, but knowing what incentives are available, will guarantee it. It is better to go in person than over the phone or online because the dealers want to see, you are serious and ready to buy today. In negotiations, the person who says the price first loses. be honest in your dealings, but don’t volunteer too much information too soon. Again be prepared to walk. I recommend searching for dealerships within 100 miles of you. Look at their inventory online and confirm they have it in stock. You can even set an appointment. Let them know you are shopping other dealerships and really looking for the best out the door price. Don’t get caught up in how they get to the out the door price, you just want to know the best out the door price. The bottom line matters and nothing else. Good luck and good shopping from Ron Knows Stuff. remember to like and subscribe. Coco says hi. #f150 #f150stx

I have been looking at 2024 F-150s. I drive a paid off 2023 Ford Maverick Lariat. You kind of talked me out of it. The only way I would do it is if I paid cash. The interest rates are a deterrent. I don’t think I want to part with that much cash for a depreciating asset.

I have a 2020 f150 stx with the 2.7/ 10speed. Paid 35k otd brand new in north georgia during 2021 but it’s a super cab. I have 55k miles and it’s been super reliable. I change the oil myself @4000 miles and sometimes at the dealer for $50 the works package. I had to replace the tires at 40,000 miles. I love how it rides and it drives like a car. The 2.7 is very peppy for a v6 and is faster than the 2003 f150 v8 I owned which had 1,020,000 miles. Everything still original from the brakes to the batteries. Gonna be draining and replacing the transmission fluid at 60,000. When the sales guy brought us their first offer I straight up told him to walk away for a few minutes so my wife and I could discuss the price.
