It is better to go in person than over the phone or online because the dealers want to see, you are serious and ready to buy today. In negotiations, the person who says the price first loses. be honest in your dealings, but don’t volunteer too much information too soon. Again be prepared to walk. I recommend searching for dealerships within 100 miles of you. Look at their inventory online and confirm they have it in stock. You can even set an appointment. Let them know you are shopping other dealerships and really looking for the best out the door price. Don’t get caught up in how they get to the out the door price, you just want to know the best out the door price. The bottom line matters and nothing else.
