​@@porkiousttvHappens when everyone is grouped and lucio is speeding more than 70% of the time. It helps to allow spam windows for double fire strikes and dps getting juicy kills. And KarQ is one of the better baps out there, makes getting 30k a lot easier.

Part of good reaction time is knowing what the enemy will do and priming your nervous system for it. Pure reaction speed just doesn't cut it. However, you can train all of it.

@@samuraibat1916true, only thing I can think of involving really good reaction time with lamp is seeing the “stuck” from a pulse bomb and lamping yourself/teammate in that split second

that or the entire team needs to LOS like a bap window for a characters cooldown

My general attitude towards ANY Bastion player I see is "f*** that guy in particular." By choosing Bastion you've opted to make Tanking miserable therefore you get deserve ALL the solo ults.

Every now and then, when I’m playing with friends, I’ll jokingly pick bastion saying “I hate fun now.” Other than that, f*** bastion players

@@BigPapaMitchellAS A GM TANK PLAYER, I don’t entirelyyyyy mind having to LOS it. And what I mean by that is it encourages and rewards coordinated team play bc you all have to be on the same page as far as “do we contest this or just hide?”… the problem comes when that’s what most of the game turns into. I def agree it’s worse to have a cooldown do that than an ult

My favourite is when I go to 1v1 someone and my team respects it and doesn’t heal me or shoot them, but their team heals them and shoots me

He’s playable. You just gotta make sure to watch cooldowns n too just be aggressive and creative. I recommend watching lhcloudy he’s an insane rein. You’ll learn a lot by watching him

Yeah, when you have to take cover behind a building or turn a corner and leave your team for a good 5-10 seconds just to survive, it kinda makes Rein's design and the tank role pointless. 5v5 was a mistake and the only reason the shield meta was ever an issue is because Blizzard abandoned Overwatch in 2018. Removing Orissa's shield, which they did in OW2 would've addressed this. Sigma just needed some tweaking.

You can literally play rein only to GM 1 with like a 70% winrate. What do people want in terms of viability?

@@Summonick2 Yeah good luck tbh. You'd need to play against Orisa/Bastion on their better maps every game. Kings Row is an exception for Rein because of the tight corners means his shatters, swings, and FS rarely whiff. The average Rein in my rank at Dia/low Masters gets shredded in seconds. Also 70% WR? Rlly? Bro thinks everyone is top 500 with that WR

@@KianaKaslana366 well I guess what I’m Saying is rein seems to me to be fine, because if you’re good at him or the game in general you can achieve a high winrate with him in any rank included the highest rank in the game, like literally only playing Reinhardt. Like I understand they buffed lifeweaver even though I hate the hero because he was legitimately bad, but rein seems completely fine?

As annoying as bastion can be too play against absolutely love the respect. As a Sombra main on dps I totally get the feeling of being disliked for playing a character you enjoy too.

Honestly it sucks how good Bastion is right now. I was trying out some new hero and switched over to Bastion mid match without even thinking much about it and instantly got accused of being a sweaty bastion noob that tries to win at all costs once they start losing. No I just want to play a hero I like. Bastion is basically like Mei at this point. Just picking them will get you flamed for being toxic. I honestly prefer being flamed for throwing in ow1 when picking bastion. Atleast then you could prove yourself. Now doing well just gets you flamed more.

@@nightshade3115every time I get a rein I try to run Lucio. The Lucio Rein synergy is so fun to me. But I feel like most of the time I have to swap off Lucio, especially if our other support goes Zen (Zen Lucio hasn’t been good since before I started playing OW1, don’t do that 😂(that was a general tip not aiming it at you speicifically))

​@@aeloh6921if she isn't caught in shatter she can just suzu everyone and negate the stun entirely and she has a lot of mobility that rein just can't keep up with. And interestingly she can kinda duel rein with suzu since rein can only do so much damage before her team arrives with makes her hard to kill

That’s the entire point of Bastion 💀 Bastion and Junkrat are shield busters. That’s been their role since Overwatch 1. Sure the game has changed, but Reinhardt should get buffed instead of nerfing Bastion’s damage against shields.

While it's painful for the Rein in low ranks as in every rank, it's often super helpful for the team because squishies are way more likely to try to face-tank the Bastion at those ranks, or just react that much slower to him coming around the corner with turret blazing. Rein (or another solid barrier tank like Sigma) is often the lifesaver, covering for those mistakes. Also, in those ranks enemy squishies are way more likely to do the same thing to you, allowing a good Rein to clean up fights as long as he can survive a couple of swings.
