Africa is a HUGE continent, and it’s hard for most people to realize just how massive it is. Looking on a map, its size seems pretty unimpressive, and it looks to be a similar size to Greenland, but in reality, the continent is more than 14 times larger.
In fact, Africa is so large that the countries of China, India, Mexico, The United States, and Japan could fit inside it, with plenty of room to spare.
But, it’s land area isn’t the only thing that's massive, because Africa is also home to 1.4 billion people, a massive number which is expected to increase to 4.3 billion by the year 2100.
