Hey CG; love your videos! Is there any chance you might do an “Intro to TerritorialIO” video where you play a little slower and discuss general strategy and mechanics? Watching you play when I kinda want to get into it is like watching a PhD level course as a freshman 😅

He is uploading the games he won. The game takes more luck than skill, if his neighbours chose to attack him instead of each other and weaken themselves and become targets he wouldn't win these games. That being said there is some tactics to expand the best at start and be slightly stronger than opponents who dont know this strategy.

You can get the majority of his tactics and thought process if you just listen to his videos. It’s not a super technical game by any means

Generally speaking, it's luck. But, there is a few main tips. When you start the round, use a lot of your troops to take ground. Once you begin to touch other nations, stop sending as much. When attacking your neighbors, make sure you don't use too many soldiers, otherwise other countries will definitely attack you when you have very few troops.

Tip : When you 1x1 with power equal to you opponent, better attack with boats(by lakes) , so you gain more territory. Tip 2: better don’t hunt for micro pixels at the early game “, because you lose for attack % of troops, and gained micro terrs isn’t worth it at that stage.

Looks like I uploaded my video an hour before his today so I don't have to be the one accused of copying, hurray! Jokes aside, we all take a lot of inspiration from each other's channels. The other territorial io guys yoink a lot of my ideas and once in a while I'll even yoink one of theirs, it's fine. We're all copying the first guy who made a let's play video, so all youtubers are copycats by definition.
