Good breakdown. So much to like about Aidans game. Climbing the pocket, surveying the field, manipulating the defense, attacking the defense, accurate, intelligent, protects the ball. For all the Aidan haters, you better hope Aidan is good and is the starter. If not, Raiders will drafting a QB in the first round. They are not going to look at Minshew as a future qb. Three other teams, told you that. Think about it, we can get another playmaker like we got Bowers this year if Aidan is the qb moving forward.
To every raider fan that thinks aoc did bad it’s obvious you have no knowledge on football just because you watch football doesn’t mean you know football, he literally drove down the field against their first team defense like it was nothing he looked much better in the pocket and went through the progressions way better you’re saying all he does is take sacks when first of all it was a play action pass and their edge dogged on our olinemen you guys have no understanding on football whatsoever
He did look really good but that sack was 100 percent on him. That play was a design to get the ball out quick and he had a 3 step drop and still took the sack. Hes young that stuff will happen. What cant happen on that play is a veteran Andrus Peat get dog walked but a rookie in his first game ever
@cjcasee7428 Watch the receivers. He can't get the ball out quick when his receivers that he was supposed to throw to run into each other. Multiple things broke down in that play causing a sack.
@@cjcasee7428 thank you for actually explaining and agreeing with me instead of saying he’s complete garbage they’re acting ass if he’s been in the league for 5 years it’s his second season and there’s so much improvement
Idc what anyone says, if you look at the stats AOC was the better QB than Minshew was agaisnt the 2s. Why would they run a play out of shotgun in the redzone? My instant reaction was terrible play call, then you have Peat getting his ass whooped to top it off. Run the damn ball.
Dude in the modern BFL everyone runs shotgun in redzone. AOC's biggest knock isn't his throwing ability or even reading NFL defenses. It's his pocket and time awareness which was awful that play
Jack jones, tre tucker brock bowers.....aoc Give me big ben vibes... more comfortable he get in pocket the better he get... o line is huge... he aint scrambling much or throwing on run
Ben was one the most aware in the pocket QBs ever and he has some speed not alot but it was a actually threat of him taking off for 5 10 yards AOC don't move at all
That’s bc he CANT scramble or run and has always been criticized for being a statue in the pocket. Gardner Minshew is beginning to run away with the starter job
You got my subscription today. First time veiwer, long time Radiers fan. Great jib breaking down the film and sharing the knowledge. Keep up the good work,!!
Whats great is at around the 9:40 mark the slant to Bowers, the Running back runs an out creating massive space in the middle of the field. Great coaching by the OC if thats the call which it looks to be. get your guys in space. Great vid man.
AOC is the better QB it’s clear as day. What he did from our 4yard line against there 1’s was impressive. Garner was playing against second and 3rd string and still didn’t out play AOC
I thought AOC came out and showed poise and he was very decisive in decisions. He knew where ball needed to go. The left side of the offensive line needs the starters in, and they need to run the ball more to even out the playcalling when he’s in. Minshew was 50% and nearly an INT against 3rd stringers yeah he can do bigger splash plays but I prefer the accuracy and decision making of AOC.
terrible take, yall just aidan fan boys. he dosent talk about aidan gets tunnel vision does not see the field, all throws to wide open wr's, 0 blitz in him. holds the ball to long
@@brandofoster6195 he couldn't take 2 steps up and run to the left. Isn't this the national football league. He can't see that and run for 3 yards. Ik he can't cuz he never dose. No mobility not agile at all and no awareness
@@brandofoster6195 play before that dude got burned to and he almost got stripped. So in two plays he couldn't figure out hey my tackle sucks I need to watch out for my blindside. Keep making excuses just like you did for DC
He had a great showing my only concern was the accuracy on some of those balls. Both balls to Meyers were pretty bad the first one was high he should have hit him in stride with all that time in the pocket. The Second one where he threw him “open” was nice but also off target Meyers did a great job adjusting to the ball and that low terrible pass to bowers on that slant. It’s small things but make all the difference in the world for YAC. I like Aiden he’s not terrible but not Elite idk if he will ever be but only time will tell. Overall I was happy with what the offense did out there
I am not someone who can brake down a play but the play he got sacked to me wasn’t a bad play….it looked to me like the play was supposed to go to Bowers but Tucker and Bowers ran into each other so someone made a mistake and the left tackle was beat. I would of liked him of to either throw the ball away or roll out which really isn’t his game.
I just have little to no faith in Getsy as our OC. I think our offense is going to hold us back terribly due to Getsy’s play calling but Minshew is the better fit in his system and will give us the best chance of winning
I like the play to Bowers to the flat out of the backfield but am I the only one thinking if he hits Mayor leading him outside he beats that lb for a Td?
@itk.r8rsn8k15 yeah he should've moved for sure but that player who suppose to block failed badly too. He still need some work but he's much better than last season
Also on that first drive it stalled more on the fact Tucker needs to continue to gain more awareness. Both last plays he ran into guys. I love tucker but as his career goes he can easily figure out to go more off script when things are a mess.
Yoo, quick question, what do u use to get the nfl plays post game? and also what do you use when you draw on the screen? I feel like this will help me understand the game a lot more if i can draw/explain plays to myself while im bored than just watching games when they come on. also by watching ur videos lmao
I think if you get espn something it gives you access to an all 22 film. As far as being able to draw on screen, i assume it's kinda like paint but you upload the 22 film to layover? Idk maybe someone else can give you a better explanation.
Also, on the red zone play, Dallas absolutely destroyed our LT. I'm glad AOC got rid of the ball as fast as he did. I didn't see the number, can anyone tell me who was in at LT on that play? I also know Kolton wasn't playing that game, so I'm hoping it was a 3rd stringer protecting his blindside.
No lmao aoc had less time with the ball in his hands and we were literally backed up at our end zone and he drove the ball down the field against their first team defense like it was nothing
One thing I hated about the announcers was how whenever the Raiders converted a huge play they constantly said "The Raiders came with a specific gameplay against the Vikings"!! As if to minimize out offense, Then cream their paints when JJ Mcarthy makes a play.
Let’s see you break down players that don’t get as much attention but can be extremely vital to the defenses success: I say Trevon Moehrig, Jakorian Bennet and Tyree Wilson
@7:32 @12:40 I’m so confused on these routes concepts like getsy has been known to have routes interfere with other guys routes with Mayer and Tucker routes they are pretty much running into each other it would had mad sense if Mayer was more on a wheel route deep and Tucker on a out route but is the point of this play to just check the right side of the field only just didn’t make sense to me because this play is completely done on the left side and also I hope the raiders keep Andreas peat at guard because my god he’s so bad
That second to last play was terrible play calling. They should've ran it in or hit the slant. The last play there were 2 WRs at the same place?? Busted or horrible call?
I think the option to pass was the good play, I disagree on having zamir run it. However, i definitely agree on the slant being thrown the ball, he had atleast 3 yards of separation at that point. Aiden needs to do better
AOC. Has not improved much; holds on to the ball too long and has no escapability. He’s a one trick pony in the pocket. That would’ve been fine 10-15 years ago but not today.
Anyone else notice some very terrible play design by Getsy? Several times WRs were running to the same places and had poor spacing. Either a lot of players are running wrong routes or it’s the play design. 🤷♂️
He still has a lack of pocket awareness. The sack was AOC’s fault completely. He needed to slide step up and to his left. 3 points instead of of 7 is the difference between a HOF and pedestrian QB. He needs to improve. He not mobile, he needs to be SAVY
These days we have no idea if the original premise is true, i.e. if Steven King really dislikes these movies, but if so, two things: first, overall it's a pretty lightweight list of movies to be spending time over, and second, he may be overestimating the cultural value of his own creations.
Minshew was way better. He was more decisive and looked much more comfortable. Aoc still has no pocket awareness. He still holds that ball too long and waits in the pocket resulting in a sack.
Something special about ao? Clearly you like him by the way you break down plays and want ton”highlight” how he manipulates the defense but be a little more objective about the his play. Play 1: although a completion, JM was open a long time across the middle, and you point out that he rounded the in but ao waited until he was towards the near side hash to deliver a HIGH ball which kept JM from RAC. That’s on the qb Play 2: off man coverage with a blitz which ao sees and runs out the fake. Good on him but 11 was open on the slant and had he thrown the ball would’ve been a better play as the cb read the bubble and was breaking on it. Play 3: you mention the deep hook on right(bottom of screen) and then say ao throws him open. How did he throw him open if it’s a comeback/hook route? The ball was under thrown which means a completion but no chance for YAC. Play 4: throw to bb split out wide where inside wr “gets in the way” the ball is low and behind so a good catch from the te but had it been waist up and in front, could have gone for more YAC. Play 7: end zone the ball, as you mentioned should’ve been thrown to back corner not to the sideline. Again, bad decision and throw. So, based on your breakdown where was the really good stuff? Be objective because things you’re saying don’t match the tape. You didn’t mention much about the sack and his feeling the pressure coming. He never looked to the backside to hold the defense or to help the cluster on the right. Could have stepped up or rolled out more, thrown the ball away.
I thought AOC looked much better than Gardner. Looking off Dbs, standing in the pocket like a champ and throwing darts. Mommy was throwing up line. Just ask Harrison Bryant. Minny even missed a wide open short crossing route on a horrible throw against Vikings 2’s. AOC was up ag
Please tell me what did you notice about Aidan O'Connell, because I haven't seen nothing yet but just you guys lying and talking about how good he is, man you fans you got show so much favoritism over certain quarterbacks, is just crazy
He’s literally way better in the pocket, people are blaming him on a sack when it was a play action pass and the edge dogged on the lineman blocking him, he’s going through progressions much better
The hell are you watching??? No bias at all. Without his #1 receiver. Becoming acclimated with a rookie tightend. New offensive coordinator. He looked poised, made the throws, & controlled the offense
@@c.manorboy your crazy you guy's are drunk, the way guy's are talking, we'll see how long Aiden is here get back at me when they name Minshew the starter
That sack that ended the drive Tucker ran into the pileup of players instead of cutting back to the middle that was open. Renfrow would’ve cut that back in it’s time to bring him back.
Aoc sucks lets just play with minshew lease we will have a exciting season. Im sick of seeing the sacs. Carr took so many unnecessary says and gorapalo just couldnt throw and AOC can see shit from his blindside
@@rickyb6780 ok I only seen the dude take a sack on his first drive. I guess all his sacks last year were imaginary. Ik he's decent be he isn't good. And we need someone that can make shit happen and extend drives and plays so we don't have to lean on our defense every game. Plus with Gardner the oline dosnt have to be perfect. Idgaf what you say ik I'm right. And when we're 3 and 6 you'll see and we'll be saying we'll at lease we can get sanders or some other mobile QB in the draft. Minshew beat our "good" defense and isn't everyone saying we were a top 5 defense. I want someone that can beat a top 5 D.
@@Gesu_925you said it’s his fault taking a sack on a play action pass lmao you obviously don’t know football the edge dogged the lineman and you’re acting as if aoc seen him you have no idea what you’re talking about
terrible take all i got is that your a aidan fan boy.... 1-never got blitzed, 2-all of his throws where to wide open wr's, 3rd-hold the ball to long and will not take off, 4th- does not go through his reads tunnel vision..... minshew should it all, sad how no one respects minshew threw 40tds to 11int with the jags, annnd was 1 play short of beating the texans and going to the playoffs with 0 weapons with the colts.
You're so crazy Aiden O'Connell is trash. Trust me if he was somebody else you guys will be bashing him, you guys just have your favorite to you guys like
