I/O on Demand-Electronic Marshalling 

Neat idea! Essentially, each of these characterization modules is a user-definable I/O point-terminal block combo unit, with each baseplate in the stack playing the role of an I/O "cluster" module; there is no longer a need for a 16-point DI or DO module in a PLC chassis, and then a rats nest of wiring connecting them to TBs, for example. Well done, Emerson!
