Thanks your Honour. Aside a judge, I do see you as a good mother. The couple here have similar emotional features that would be influenced easily by a third party. I could see their love for the children as well as for each other but both seem to be somehow egocentric. Counselor(s) should help counsel them on how to calm down, communicate, respect and understand each other. I only wonder why we still don't understand that children are to be considered before decisions are made.

I used to behave like that boy when I was 23 that’s when I married my wife but she suffered until I matured, now she’s living her dream life but it took me time to mature.

Since there's no part 2 of this hilarious case. I have to rewatch and make my final comments. That lady is already seeing another man and she will regret ever doing that because those friends of her that initiated her will soon mess her up. Watching from Australia here, I am happy for this platform. As concerning this case my observations. Is very common with our African husband to always say, a woman came to marriage with nothing, and anything you bought for her is still yours. Very childish. What is causing this young ladies to get out of marriages is because, when they date men and they buy them things they dont come back to reclaim as is in marriage. A,man can give his side chick a car ,and his family will never hear about it, but a wife it will become a song. The most interesting part of this wahala the judge stop the lady to explain the Genesis. So sold her marriage ring because it was gold and the man used it to abuse her. Counselling is important for this young couples, but my advice to the man is ,stop packing your wife things to keep because you bought them. That lady is wife material, should not insult you. Very normal to accused you for dating a bar seller. You are a gentle man ,you love your kids and you must respect their mom's emotions. Marriage are being destroyed just because, when someone is not guilty, you think you are not committing a crime. Lady go back to your husband, keep your mother inlaw out of your troubles. You are very young and 2 kids and not easily get another man for a long time. The judge is fantastic.

I have difficulty appreciating why the children become the critical issue in matters like this. As far as I am concerned the moment that divorce is perfected the children, the parents immediate and remote as well as the larger society become imperiled. First focus should be on efforts to heal the relationship where and if possible. Good that the judge is recommending a marriage counseling. Hope the root cause of the problem would be dealt with there. For the much I have seen there were no issues until the man started helping himself at Madam X's beer joint and believed the wife should be satisfied with sitting indoors and clapping for him.
