In any event the judge had an obligation to inform the chief justice of the bigamy as the defendant had incriminated himself during this hearing! In front of the judge and all the court witnesses! How long did he know the second wife was he carrying on with her behind his wife’s back? My judgement would have been that if you can look for twice the amount of trouble then you can afford to manage both households! I feel sorry for the other woman, because she does not even realise she’s not even married. Judge funmi should have varied the earlier judgement that allowed him to take the children away to spend time with him. He should only be allowed to see them at their mothers place or a neutral place if she remarries. If a woman agrees to marry a man for whom another woman had children, she could harm the kids in different ways when they are on visits. Those kids are exposed to danger.
