@@rh-nb3kopay for them? You get around 4 a day from the daily and you can get 5 shop tickets from battles everyday. Those can be traded for hourglasses. In total, you can get 6 or 7 everyday not including level ups
the thing about pokémon is that, yes the lore is sorta "anything can happen" but there is also incredible backstory and detail for each, giving personality beyond the visual design and name. reading pokedex entries are also often dark. it's part of the lasting appeal, this "only showing the tip of the iceberg" approach.
the rainbow thing means its a rare pack... each pack only the 5th card has a chance to contain a certain rarity card a rare pack means the 4th card also has this chance. so you could in theory get two crown rares in a rare pack or you could get just 2, 4 silver diamond cards. i might have gotten some details wrong but you can see it broken down in the offer rates.
I don't think that's true. If you look at the actual drop rates every card has the odds to have a rare, but the 5th is most likely and 4th being about half as likely as the 5th.
@@Deathnom you are right,i tried to go of a vague memory so i just looked at it again. in a standard pack cards 1-3 are always 1 diamond cards. 5th card has the best odds for rarity and is always 3 diamond+ while the 4th card has a slightly worse chance of being a rare card. but the 4th card actually has the best chance of being a crown rare. where a rare pack every card has a chance to be a rare card my bad go to offering rates. regular pack. 100% for 1 diamond card. for 1st to third.
Looks like a rainbow burst pack means there’s a new 1-star (or better) rare inside. Just had this happen to me on a single pack for full art Porygon. I think this also fits with Regis’s theory late in the video that the pack order is revered when opening ten at a time. I don’t know if there’s a burst effect for a true rare ‘god’ pack, but the odds are 1/2000 so most of us will probably have a full collection before we see one lol
Omystar is one of the fossil pokemon evolutions, that is why it is Extinct. They found ways to revive fossil pokemon which happens in the first game (where Kabutops and Omystar come from)
9:50 in Pokemon, they were able to resurrect fossils of extinct pokemon through scientific means. Dome fossils turn into Kabuto, Helix turns into Omanyte, Amber turns into Aerodactyl. There's about 20+ more after those. These are referred to as "fossil pokemon" by fans.
In Japanese, a lot if not most of the Pokemon names are completely different from English. I.e. Bulbasaur = Fushigidane, Charmander = Hitokage, Squirtle = Zenigame, etc. However, some do have the same / similar names. I.e. Pikachu is the same, Caterpie = Kyatapii, Butterfree = Batafurii, etc. Where I live, Indonesia, the English names are used as far as I know.
That's the spirit!~ If you open them one at a time, you can grab the deck and pull it right and see the edges of the cards, so you know if there is something special inside!
It's fighting energy, yeah. There are "fossil" Pokemon in almost every generation that are supposed to be extinct, but there are scientists who clone them. Normally you'll get a choice of two fossils and pick, meaning you'd have to trade with someone else who got the other one to finish your Pokedex. Also it's Marrow-Whack because it's hitting you with a bone. Cubone's just a sad family line, the skull it wears is from it's mom, and there's a long standing "fan canon" that its a baby Kangaskhan who's mom died.
I've found some success with it when opponents use neutral cards like widget, but for the most part people seem to just run mono color decks and nothing else
So, Nidoran♂ and Nidoran♀were Pokémon's first dive into different genders, from the first generation of games. That didn't really happen beyond those two until the second gen of games.
Lol i subscribed because i HAVE to watch you learn about new Pokémom as they add them in the future 😂 also dont worry, with 1000+ 'mons, even the lifelong Poké-enthusiant will see a random creature and be like, "oh i forgot this thing existed."
Hey, I don't know if this will be helpful for you if you end up doing more of these. But it looks like you can kind of preview the pack by clicking and dragging to move the card all the way to the side to see the cards behind. This way you can look out for different borders like the holographic and maybe full-art cards. Anything to kind of speed up the process if you ever get the full basic collection.
Regis, if you click on your profile Pic, you can scroll down to your trophies, and the first one on the left should be how many packs you've opened. It will give you the exact number of packs if you click on it (any of the trophies will).
Regarding your closing words. I used to play the physical game of pokemon TCG and quit because it was brutally unsatisfying getting so much junk cards and it happened really quickly and just became bad feels. I have since quit all TCG model games, LCG are the only ones I'll touch.
They have a probability's list you can read for the packs and it seems like there are two different kinds one is the regular pack and the other is the "rare" pack which must be the rainbow ones you encountered. You can still get the rare cards from a regular pack but "rare " packs have a much higher chance
In Mexico we have the same names of USA, but it you look someones have spanish words in their names, like Mol-TRES, Zap-DOS and Artic-Uno A lot more in a region based on Spain, but we have the Birds since day one.
The way they name the Pokémon in English is if it has a specific meaning, they change it to make it make sense in English iirc Though one of the funniest ones I’ve seen that got changed were the Pokémon Koffing and Weezing was at first named NY and LA 😂
Honestly, between the currency you get from beating the bot matches and then just grinding the first 10-15 levels or so. If you reroll till you get a gold or immeryove you like. You should have decent pulls as a f2p. its not the end if you dont get the gold. I prefer the immersive full arts, and if youre like me and pulled for a full deck first; youll be pretty blinged out. Personally, the gold cards are dope, but the immersive arts are just so much cooler to me. I've got one crown so far, but font use it. Its too yellow for me lol
Arcanine's card says that he's a legendary pokemon, but he's totally not. That's so weird. I see some theories online about how Arcanine was originally going to be a legendary but they scrapped those plans, so... they just never updated the Arcanine card over nearly 30 years? I'm confused about Omastar, it just seems OP. Every time you attack, the defending pokemon can't attack on their next turn? So you just either block your opponent out from attacking or force them to swap in a new active pokemon every single turn? That just seems crazy. In French when things end in an e you pronounce the consonant before it. If it was Blastois then it would be pronounced in French how you said it, but Blastoise would be pronounced "blastwahz."
In regis's first video, in the description he links a video on how to do it. Basically you need to download the apk, and a vpn and connect to new zealand.
