Kayla girl you don't be playing around. You really be knocking out these projects left and right. Such an inspiration to me! Thanks girl love your channel
Im So proud of you Kayla you are getting things all the way together knocking out project. After project you & Marcus don't play around that's So Awesome! He's 100% in too what ever Kayla wants to do yall rock!
Everything looks so nice. I would definitely consider getting a second handrail and widening the pavers near the stairs for safety reasons. But I love the gravel color and paint color it all looks very classy!
looks amazing! if it’s in the budget, paint the windows and shutters black or the shutters a pop of color. Also try removing the shutter for the bay window- it will truly showcase the beautiful window! again amazing job
Marcus is the friend that gets on the ground to get your best angle when you ask him to take pics lol. He really gives his all every project. You guys make a great team! 🤎
I’m an old grandmother and I say Marcus is a keeper. He is hard working and you both work well together towards a common goal! The house is looking sooo nice! Maybe the front door would look nice in “Tiffany blue?” If not that then, “Robin’s egg blue?” Both of those colors are gorgeous if the color blue is your thing.
Please bring the curve to the far side of the steps. If not, it's going to look from facing the house that the stairs have been split in half! That would be awkward visual. If you make the pathway continue to the left of the house it will be more cohesive.
I think you should've centered the walkway or at least had the outer line come from the handrail, so if someone needs to use it, they still can walk down to the walkway. But it always comes together! Let me continue watching. Lol
It was really impressive that he helped Everything looks soooo nice You are my Inspiration to get Things done before the winter Thanks for the Inspiration. I Needed it!!!!
@@YoungLadyBusiness You two are relationship goals. Such a kind, mutual respect for one another, while also having a flirty, fun vibe. A real win/win when you get to be in love with your best friend. 💞💞#ship #KaMar
What a difference a day makes 💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼in your case painting the house upgrading the look and adding a fresh look with the walkway 😍🙌🏼🥰I lovit 💖makes a hooooge difference
Love it but the walkway on the steps looks weird as it ends in the middle of the step and the width should be at least the same width as the rest of the path. It does not need to be the width of the step but should be slightly wider and centered on the step.
What a beautiful job you are doing to your home! What ever color you pick for the shutters and doors will look great! anyone who don't like it tell em to buy their own house! God Bless you!
I’m so glad u did the lime wash since it absorbs into the brick and will age so beautifully! So many just paint brick and it sits on the surface of the brick and eventually will peal. Beautiful job!
I loved EVERYTHING you did you your house so far but the walk way just doesn’t look right to me for some reason. I think it should have been wider but hey it’s your house not mine lol.
I'm planning to do this, but I've struggled to find a video of a house with my color brick. Your's is pretty close to my light orange house. I'm excited to get ours done in the near future. Your home is beautiful. ❤
Your house looks amazing!! You guys really pulled off that walk way. I still think black steps and shutters would look classic with a front door color pop of whatever you choose. Either way I’m sure whatever go decide will all look great in the end. Thanks for sharing, really enjoyed the video!
Hi Kayla you and Marcus are just amazing to me. I love the way you and Marcus are fixing this nice home up to perfection. You two look like pros.Im very proud of you. And also Marcus. He's a keeper for sure. He acts as if he's already your hubby. You two make a great team. The house is beautiful you have great taste. The trim of the house should be the same color of the door. Terracotta, medium gray, olive green, a pretty matte color just some suggestions. The gravel sidewalk should be even with the steps. Well i truly love all that you do and share. You and Marcus keep up the great work that you do. Blessings to you both.🙏🙏❤❤❤🌟
Looks good! Have you considered putting pavers down in the gravel area so that you (or anyone) can walk without getting rocks in their shoes or their heels sinking in? I can't wait to see the finished look.
I like, it all came out well!! My only concern is that the walkway is not wide enough leading up to your steps. Its narrowing coming around the curve to connect to your doorsteps.
I LOVE THAT YOU KEPT THE ORIGINAL BRICK STEPS, LOOKS SO GOOD WITH THE WHITE!!! the shutters I would say diy you some wood shutters and stain them close to the color of the bricks it will look so good with a wood accent and make everything pop!!!
Wow looks like a new house. We recently sided our house (from barnyard red to light grey) and when people come over they drive by cause the house looks so different. Great job!!!
Ms. Kayla you are one hardworking young lady!! I applaud your determination and steadfastness. You and Marcus are such a great team! Y'all really get the job done. I would go for the blue door for your pop of color and for safety purposes anothee railing. Everything is coming together beautifully and I can't wait to see the final results. 😊💕🌷
Great job as usual! Don’t listen to the negative comments about widening the walkway or the second handrail. It looks just fine. If it works for you then don’t worry about it. There was nothing at all there before you created this lovely idea. Keep your creative juices flowing. Proud of you Sis😘❤️❤️❤️👏👏🙌🏾🙏🏾
Yes teacher I have learned something new. Had no idea what lime wash was. I have to take my hat off to y'all. Painting your home yourself (chefs kiss).
Have you considered taking the shutters off? I’m noticing many homes without them now. Also, I think your windows and trim would look great in a dark color like Peppercorn. I like the painted brick a lot. I did a similar walkway a few years ago and I added stepping stones every few inches. No sinking heals. You and Marcus did a great job!
Yes, I would have widened the walkway at the steps but other than that I think it looks a thousand times better. I just got my own place a few months ago. This month is dedicated to the yard. Planting trees and bushes etc. I've already got my lime wash and I think I'll do it sometime this summer. I was gonna wait til next summer but seeing how great yours looks has gotten me excited and eager to start on mine. Thanks for the inspiration and good luck and continued success on yours!
Your drive and charm are off the charts! Your home is looking beautiful - your hard work is paying off! Might I chime in and suggest stepping stones up your gravel path? This will not only save your heels but aide in less gravel levelling in your future. They nestle quite easily into the gravel and are relatively inexpensive. I can't wait to see the continued progress! Great job!
Awesome progress! Can't believe you got the house limewashed in one video! That's a big job. Now get them shutters painted black, window frames black, and you'll be rocking and rolling!
I love that your into this. One day you may be a famous house designer. Who knows what the future ahead has in store for you. Never settle,go big in life. Have a nice Sunday afternoon.
Kayla it looks great!b To help you decide for your front door, take a pick of your house, print it and cut out the door. You can then put the swatches behind the photo and see what you like best :)
And I limewashed my house with the same stuff. It took me awhile lol. But i love it. If you have bad weather like we have where i live, you'll have to repaint those front steps at least once a year.
That walk voiceover. 😭💀 Your family is SO supportive! I love it. They KILLED that too! I was ready for the mulch when you ended the video. Lol! This is looking so good! I feel proud for you.
Hey, 😊 thanks for sharing your experience. You made a very good decision to make these changes. It is always an inspiration and joy to watch strong women achieve their goals.🎉 Nice greetings from Europe. ❤
I love it! I'm thinking about painting my brick, so I decided to look to see if anyone's doing it and how it looks. I'm excited now to do mine. I want all white brick with black trim and a red or black door.
Wow, y’all doin’ the damn thang! I’ve never painted anything, especially a house. I think the gravel walk could have been the same width as the porch, but Chile, it’s your house not mine. Overall, I love it!
So enjoyed the video. Wish it was longer. Everything looks great. I bought my house a couple of years ago and did some pretty big renovations but was to shy to show it to the world.
