Thanks for sharing the experience and emphasizing the points that you consider most important or that appear in the exam, a few days ago I obtained the certification as an administrator and I hope to continue with the app builder in the coming weeks. I wanted to ask, what do you think is the best way to prepare for this exam: FocusOnForce or Trailhead following the trails?
Congrats on obtaining your Administrator certification! I would recommend using focus on force for the bulk of the studying for app builder certification. They do a really great job laying out all the material. I also like their practice exams and knowledge checks at the end of each section. I used trailhead if their was a particular topic I was struggling with and wanted to get hands on with it in a sandbox. Best of luck studying for your next certification!
@@salesforceethan do you remember if there were many mobile app questions ? l am going though focus-on-force mock up exams and there are few there, l know little about it, and not sure if l should stress about it at all, thanks
When I took the exam there were a few questions about the mobile app, but not many. I would say make sure you know what is and how to create a compact layout. The focus on force mock exams are a great tool and I they really helped me prep for the exam. The best advice that I have is to get as much hands on experience working on the platform especially if this will be your first admin job. There are a lot of free project ideas that you can build in your sandbox for Flows, custom objects, etc. That will help give you something to talk about during interviews to showcase your knowledge. Also, really work on networking on LinkedIn with other admins/companies. I know there are LinkedIn groups in different major cities where IT professionals go to network from time to time so check into that too. Hopefully that helps and the best of luck on your jorney!
