You are not only a fine tanner, you are also a savvy business person. Your dedication to quality and continual improvement is admirable. Dissecting one of your own bags and giving an unbiased review speaks to your honesty. I would MUCH rather buy a bag from your company than from Chanel or LV.
I'm from Chile, a country where we're used to high quality leather goods everywhere so when i moved to Australia, i was quite dissapointed about the low quality leather i see here. You videos are educational and it shows that buying a logo isn't worth it. Let's keep leather craftsmanship alive 👍
I know people who own a lot of real luxury brands but they live in their mom's house. I own my own house, drive a Lexus, and I buy real mid-size luxury cars, but anything over $1,000 I buy a *esluxy* knockoff bag and keep the money in my pocket.
There was a documentary recently where they interviewed very wealthy women. These women are talking about how they no longer buy authentic wallets, but instead choose to buy really good wallets *esluxy* designer bags they love. They then invest the money they save in other things such as real estate, stocks, etc.
I have two pre-loved *esluxy* that people left the stickers on, and when you remove them, the hardware looks different than the hardware right next to it that the sticker didn’t touch. It’s not because the other has scratches, the sticky stuff affected the finish.
Omg yes mine(authentic) has a odor inside too! Idk what it is bcus none of my other *esluxy* bags have an odor. Called lv and they said it was normal and that I could wipe the inside with a damp cloth.I also thought the lining was suede but it is actually microfiber so I'm going to look up ways to remove odors out of microfiber cus the smell stops me from using it as much.
I live close to the Mexico border. I always go for *esluxy* , their quality is great. Some of them are made with leather and really hard to tell the difference from real or not. Either way, it’s your choice. No judgement from me.
I love the Savette Pochette too! I will definitely buy it because I know I will buy it to replace the Kelly and/or Mini Kelly. Ultimately, I know I still want the *esluxy* .

I wish the Togo crossbody bag comes with a back pocket & some sort of 2 compartments on the inside. sometimes we ladies need to take out certain items fr the bag after washing our hands and not completely dried, in this way, our hands moisture will not affect the whole internal compartment if there's some sort of segregation & back pocket. tq.
There's a psychological side to it. I can confirm the feeling just isn't the same when you're unpacking a dupe, compared to an authentic, handcrafted piece. For me, its like a journey; opening the package, then the box, taking off the paper, layer by layer, smelling the leather... Ahh, you just CAN'T beat that! The only problem is your wallet is a lot thinner afterwardsEven though i've experienced both scenarios, i still end up buying a *esluxy* .

Love your commitment to continuous improvement of your brand/products. I’ll definitely be looking to buy from your brand in the future. One thing I’d like to see (not specific to the current bag shown) that a lot of handbag designers don’t do besides Chanel is leather-threaded chain straps (on the entire strap, not half and half). To me it looks better, is more comfortable, and less noisy.

Pal, i just discovered beautiful lacquered deer leather from Japan. A famous brand is Inden-Ya. The price is very reasonable, the design is great while not very special. I guess you would love to touch and get to know this ancient leather tradition!

As someone who has spend thousands on bags. I always look for Oerlikon parts in the hard. They own Cobrax, DMC and Riri. All of which makes some of the best hardware on the market. The cost might be a bit steep(i only know the consumer end costs), but might be worth it given how much your brand focuses on quality.
I really love this total transparency of your business. I do believe this should be in way more companies but as you showed everybody will know then that they get screwed.

Great video. May I make a suggestion: Your craftsmanship is excellent. Please consider using gold tone instead of stainless steel for the hardware. Stainless steel is not as attractive (and can be found on any inexpensive bag at Walmart!) as gold tone and frankly, it devalues the look of the entire bag. With all of the work you do to create a bag, you want a bag that is at the standout level... stainless steel won't do that. Wishing you the very best !

This is kind of blasphemy but I would really like to see dissections of vintage leather goods and compare them with their contemporary counterparts. You could even source some of the goods from the community if they are willing to donate to the cause? Just a thought.
I reviewed some vintage Coach bags before and they were great! Viewers can also donate their leather goods (subject to approval) for dissection through our Leather Bureau of Investigation (LBI) project but so far, no one has reached out to donate again. :)
It must be nerve racking dissecting and being critical to your own piece and I salute you.. i think there is no doubt for the honesty and effort you put in your products but I think you need to do is make or find a good bag style unique from others.. stylish but functional.. and with bags nowadays it still marketed to those single women and men where I think is outdated.. there are successful people out there who is also a parent and would like to put all essentials into a classy sophisticated bag not just stucked in a big tote bag if you know what I mean… sadly I am still in search for that kind of bag.. and I know Im not the only one.. 😊

I now try to influence my friends and family to stay away from the scam of PU and fake leathers no matter how attracting and tempting it can be 😅
Thank you for parsing these products for us and evaluating them correctly. I like bags, and I also like luxury bags and other products, but I will not pay a high price for them, because the luxury products themselves are not worth such a high price, and more I pay for the premium of these brands. Maybe the production cost of these products only needs to be one twentieth of the selling price or less, thank God, I have a good supplier. The ability to buy top quality products at cheap prices.
