Great to see you back on the horse. You are an awesome and brave woman. Don't get too comfortable picking up hitchhokers though. These days not everone is a nice guy but nice guys will understand why a solo female passes them by.

I hitchhiked from Perth back to Sydney. It took 10 days and 16 different people picked me up. One of the most memorable trips of my life in one of the most difficult times of my life.

He seemed like a pretty cool guy. Maybe you should remove the rear spoiler to accommodate the better awning. You could just put the bolts back in the hatch holes with rubber washers for waterproofing and touch up the bolt heads with white paint.

😊 awesome getaway, just thought I mention that I have a 30 second awning (that’s the name of it) that is a 270 degree awning and it’s on a 200 series landcruzer. So if u look the up on the tube u can see that you can go back to a 270 awning. Cheers

Your videos are always peaceful and relaxing. I can’t believe you’ve never been stung by a bee before. Several years ago I was driving on the Albany Highway somewhere around Narrogin. I’m guessing you have a vague idea of where that is in Western Australia. I was in a 1968 model Toyota Dyna truck with no air conditioning and it was a stinking hot summers day. I think I just stopped at a Roadhouse to grab some food and noticed a few flies in the cab. So I started swishing them out with my hand. I saw one last one. A big blowfly, so I grabbed it with my hand, but then I realised it wasn’t a blowfly, it was a bee. That was fun. I manage to sort myself out without stopping but Holy shit that hurt. I’ve had too many stings to remember. Including chucking a leak opposite Ravensthorpe roadhouse, near Esperance and having a swarm of bees land on me that were blown by hot gale force northerly winds. Luckily the only place I was stung was on the neck, twice. Remember the other week I tagged you in a Vegemite chicken photo? Well since then I’ve been getting nothing but Vegemite ads. I now know that you can get four different type sauces with added Vegemite flavour. Good information for the guy that hates the stuff. Sorry this is a bit of a waffle but it’s 2.15 in Western Australia right now and I have had man flu for the last eight days so I am probably delirious ha ha. Safe travels.

Seal Skin socks. I’ve used them for over 15 years all over Aus, America, most of Asia and the Middle East. Used them when I was in the army for 10 years, used them when I ride my motorbikes, used them when hiking and recently used them in the Japanese Alps.

The last bit was touching. I've always believed that vehicles take on this automotive transcendence. They become more than just transportation. They become a partner, a friend you rely on, etc. They at times have personalities of their own. Its hard to explain, but you know when you feel it, especially when you catch yourself looking back at it as your walk away. Maybe its a guy thing. I don't feel the need to have a tattoo to remember my truck -the one I smashed, but I did feel so bad that it got totaled because of an error by my hand. You can probably understand how guilty I felt about that. Even when my brother heard about it being totaled, they were like, "No.. Not IronHide." That is why I'm grateful that I was able to find one, exact same year, model and even option to replace it. The new truck also even came with two mods that I was planning to do with my truck anyways. If there is one person I would like to thank for helping through that whole ordeal, it would be God. Thank God, it wasn't as serious as it could have been. Someone could have died or been seriously injured. I could have been in prison. So I Thank God that he protected me and kept all of us safe that day.

Yes you better keep that bumblebee, it’s very rare to be stung by one, I’ve never herd of anyone being stung by one tell now

There should be a fuse for that dinging when u open ur door. Check ur owners manual.. on a side note love ur videos & ur adventures in exploring.

Having you back certainly reminds me how much I always enjoyed, and looked forward to your videos. You write so beautifully and narrate so well. Always drawing me in. The loss of your old LC weighs so heavy on your heart. I hope soon, if not already, that you come yo realize that your relationship with it was all within you. As much as we bring our vehicles to life, it will always be that they are just machines that have not the ability to feel. It does not miss you or blame you. It holds no jealousy over your new vehicles. It's all just you, putting that weight on your own shoulders. Anyway, ...... such an adventurous woman that has never been stung by a bee until now. 😂. How the heck is that possible?? 😊 ❤❤❤

That's a rock between the Caliper and the heat shield and rotor .put the truck in reverse and go a little fast hit breaks hard and the rock will unstuck.

Hey my friend. It is trully a blessing to see another one of your video. Everything happen for a reason. We cross paths with others for a reason. In this world it is difficult to show your heart and compassion, but you are who you are and that is a caring individual and honestly i am proud of you cause you overcame something big. Sometimes it those moments that gives us joy and peace in our spirit. You toke a leap of faith and look how you felt after. Our joy comes from simple things. If you never heard that noise would you have known about the brake pad falling out. Everything happen for a reason. lol. If those bees wasn't all over your camp ground you wouldn't be reminded on how sweet you are lol. Plus remember they collect pollen from bloosoms hint hint lol. Still waiting for you to bloom. I love the fact that you did the tattoo meanings, but to me these are reminders of your journey, what you have been through and your rebirth. Honestly it is just a reminder that you are a warrior. I am so proud of you for opening your heart to us but also reminding us of what we ourselves have endured and survived. Love is pain, but it is not our death just a rebirth. I wish and pray peace unto you through your journey. You are someones motivation. I live with family but no matter who is around me i am always by myself mentally. There is peace in isolation but you are able to grow in many ways. If live didn't have challenges would we be appreciative of anything. Told you that you was missed. I remember watching a video of this young lady that was out driving and a tree fell across the road and she use her chainsaw and made fire wood for her campsite. I even saw the same young lady talk trash to herself to give herself confidence to get courage to do something that scared her, and even tho she can't fish she tried lol. There is nothing you can't do if you put your mind to it. You are stronger than you know never doubt yourself and remember you are still learning and growing. I have an FJ Cruiser, it does the same annoying beeping when leaving keys in ignition. Easy fix, pull the screw out of the door sensor, unearths it and beeping gone. I just stuck some blue tack on the back of it to make it stay there but it stays a way as it clicks in place. Only thing is it won’t beep and tell you if you leave your headlights on so u gotta be on the ball with that or just have a jump start kit just in case but you should have one of them anyway.

Shame that we live in a world where simply helping another person requires so much consideration. Couple of months ago I was on my way to work at 5am when I saw a 4x4 on the side of the highway with it's hazard lights on. It's a rural area and I knew the driver would be stuck there for hours (and get charged a heap of cash for a tow-truck) so I made the decision to stop and see if I could help. When I realised that there were four guys in the 4x4 I immediately started thinking about how this could quickly go bad. Course, it turned out that they were just grateful to get some help and I towed them a couple of miles to a nearby town and left them in the car-park of a local mechanic. I felt kind of guitly about thinking the worst. I mean, 99.99% of us are just humans trying to get along in life and it's good to do something to help another person but you HAVE got to consider the other 0.01% of people, who might be intent on something bad.

I've only picked up a hitchhiker once, and it turned me right off doing it again, it wasn't scary but they weren't the least bit grateful for the ride, and they kept asking for money. It was a very unpleasant experience.
