'What is it about... War and Peace', I don't know why that really really really tickled me. ZOMG, the cover of The Other Half you have is great. It is such a fun, layered thriller.

I just finished it The Other Half and I loved it!! I'm so glad I made time for it this month. I hadn't realized it was a detective book when I started it (which I don't usually go for) but she did such a good job creating that character but also making the others such huge parts of the story. I will definitely be reading the next one 😊

The cats are the star of the video. I agree War and Peace is worthy (I ended up four star) but it is also long! Oh I am old enough to have read Johnny Tramain in school 😂 it wasn’t bad at all for required reading.

I felt the pain when The Shards got the boot 😂 Hope you enjoyed Old God’s Time more than I did, and love The Bee Sting as much as I’m loving it! I’m into the last section and SCARED of how it’s going to end.

I struggled through the first half, but was really into the second half, so I think all and all it was just okay for me haha but definitely an enjoyable reading experience! and I agree on depressing, but I think those were my favorite parts

I have read The Bee Sting All The Little Bird Hearts I’m currently reading Prophets Song I’d also recommend The Wren, The Wren by Ann Enright ( especially the audio) So Late On The Day by Claire Keegan 🍀👋☘️☕️📕📖📚🇮🇪💐

FWIW, I DNF'd The Shards. (I think Ellis and I just don't get along, he's a little too extra for my tastes.) Looking forward to hearing what you think about The Bee Sting. I want to pick it up, and I'm pretty sure I won't hate it, but it's a heck of a commitment. (I hope you'll convince me it's worth it.)

I was soooo skeptical about it in the beginning but then I ended up loving it!! I'll talk a little about it in my October TBR, but I've got a full Booker video planned and I'll talk about it more then 😊
