Awesome video my friend, I am upgrading from a GTX 690. This is what I need and just bought a ASUS 34 ROG swift curved, this card will do fine for me🎮😃👍New sub here😃
+Dante Legacy Gaming Thank You. I'm doing my best to keep it factual without the You Marketing our video are not cinematic but we do review the product.
sounded like you recommended sli for VR, i got the impression from their presentation that due to the way the card processes the information, that its performance hit from 2 displays(vr) is minimal, if at all.. not twice the performance required as was with previous cards. i would like to see the VR benchmarks, as that will be the most telling performance boost by the sounds of things. Like they said, 2x performance of titan x in vr.
+HiTechLegion can you run VR benchmarks without the hardware? i would have thought so. although i may be wrong. there arent any VR benmarks up yet from what ive seen. Which is weird because that will be the wow factor. Like you said, smp is the game changer. do the math on an area once, but use two differnt camera angles instead of 2 complete sets of math.
+Scholzey havent seen any benchmarks for vr without actually having vr. 3dmark has a vr benchmark but i am not sure it works without vr. so i haven't tried to test it
Damn I am loving the price point for this gpu, too bad my gtx 970 is not even a year old, the market is already flooded with used 980's and 980ti's so I have no chance of selling my gpu for a good price.....I might just wait out until the gtx 1080ti (if that is going to happen anytime soon)
A bit apples and oranges don't you think? A fair comparison is stock 1080 vs stock 980 or OC both. This is only the 1080, let's see what the 1080ti can do.

ImBarryScottCSS true...definitly like the 1080 altough i think that the pricing is a bit steep...but hey, once the new titan and the 1080ti is out it´ll be around the 500 mark again!also curious what vega can do...
+ImBarryScottCSS Barry the 980 was benchmarked. You can see the #'s in the benchmark section. Since the TitanX preforms better than the 980 why would I not use the TitanX as the focal point? It's just common sense that the 1080 out performs it.
no offense, but you might want to work on making sure all of your information is presented accurately if you want more people to take your channel seriously. i wasnt even paying full attention while watching this video but still managed to notice 2 big mistakes in the technical specs you gave (there may be others).... first, the GDDR5x memory does not have 10 gigaBYTE throughput, but rather 10 gigaBIT...this is a massive (8x) difference.....second, you said it has 7.2 billion "capacitors"...? i believe you mean "transistors". 7.2 billion capacitors would make this card the size of a city block. if you are reviewing computer technology, you need to know the difference between a transistor and a capacitor. i know this channel isnt anandtech or anything, but like i said before, you need some more technical know-how and more concise reporting of the specs if you want a large audience to trust your views and take your channel seriously. just a heads up.
+moda son Thanks for your response. Clearly I made a mistake, thought I said gigabit and thought I said transistors. My bad for not catching it. I do not script my reviews they are all based on knowledge and testing. I am fully aware of the differences. Next time I'll be more careful.
our eyes 60 fps is not good enough.... if you play online probly not 58-60 fps probly 30-40 not good il wait for better 100 fps or 120fps 4k . im just saying they can do beyond not this. mybe they do that bcuz for the money they cant create the highest and fastest graphic w without money and community and support il understand but if you make something better should be better and it last long.
