At Kyoto station, there was a grand piano waiting for any musician to play with. It was a good opportunity to perform it live here. Thank you for all audiences who were there. Many amazing pianists in Kyoto. I will definitely visit Kyoto again

@passiveyoutuber4972
@passiveyoutuber4972 4 года назад
@@Mickieotheros the power should be found in the sound alone. It's true that the fingers go together, because of the anatomy of the hand (muscles of hand and underarm) The power comes from the stiffness of the articulations of the arm. It's that power is made for the instant of the attack of the keys, the pianist can play healthily. If the stiffness is prolonged, injury is the result. There are many awesome books for pianists. A good one is "what every pianist needs to know" You are right about the functionality of the body. But there are some harmful mistakes that have been taught too many generations.

@havardmj
@havardmj 4 года назад
@IV 7766 So I guess the disagreement is about whether or not it's "one of the hardest". Regardless, bringing up that harder pieces exist, is redundant. It comes across as gatekeeping. To come to agreement about "one of the hardest" one has to define what that means. In my opinion, if 99.9% of piano players can't play a piece, it's one of the hardest, just by the numbers alone. Even if there are 30 pieces that are more difficult.

Love how the old lady in the right side next to pillar is there emotionless like if she once was at the top of the piano scene than Failed this exact piece and is having bad memories, after this she became a judge for piano competitions known to be ruthless and strict, at the end she smiles when she remembers how fun it was to play when she didn’t have to worry to be perfect , remembering good times and applauded to congratulate this guy for reminding her of those times , a truly touching moment

Liszt was rumored to sell his soul to the devil, so your comment makes sense. Edit: and Paganini also sold his soul to the devil. And that makes double sense
