@@dendon3384 Ichika's hybrid technical style is more at home with stylistically eclectic British prog guitarists in the 70s, especially Steve Howe of Yes. As much as I respect Deep Purple of their influences, you can't also deny classic prog bands of their influence on the rock music umbrella in general, heavy metal included. Also for the Yes's album Relayer, Steve managed to push the envelope of guitar performance and artistic expression **way beyond** most of their hard rocking peers outside the prog territory, arguably. Listen to his guitar works on the monumental piece "The Gates of Delirium", what he did there was light-year ahead of everyone else and he did it over a 22-minutes rock suite adapting, albeit loosely, the timelessly classic novel "War & Peace" by Leo Tolstoy. I love and respect Ritchie, but it's obvious he was just out of the league when compared to the unironic guitar behemoth of the 70s like Steve Howe.
OH MY FUCKING GOD I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT YOU PLAYED THIS AGAIN HOLY SHIIIIIIT THANK YOU SO MUCH. The original video where you play this is one of the first video I ever saw from you and hearing it again will always feel nolstagic!
ME TOO OH MY GOD!! I watched that video and immediately got inspired to start playing, I got a guitar 2 years after I saw that video but I haven't been playing much on it sadly 😔
Everyone is saying "That's not smoke on the water, that's [insert exaggeration here]" he didn't even say he played smoke on the water, he said he played smoke on the
Married?! Congrats! Don't mess it up, that's your queen now. There's nothing else out there you've got it all. Saw a pic of you guys and could instantly tell you were made for each other. Peace and love to you both.
I hope one day I’ll have this much extensive knowledge on music theory and technique. Like seriously you must have so much knowledge to move through these scales and chords like this and create them at whim
That was incredible, definitely something more than smoke on water). By the way do you have any telecasters in your guitar collection, if so, which ones?
These comments really make me wonder if the people/bots who write them are real. Like even a robot isn't out of touch enough to say "he's not pregnant but he delivers"
When you went to musical instrument store, want to play "Smoke On The Water" but on first played notes saw that shop assistants wanna get guitar out of your hands... 😁🤣
I think that this audition will go much like Les Claypool's audition for Metallica went. "You're too good for us. You should be doing something on your own"
Every god damn time i watch him play ... I cant .. i cant beleive it , i cant understand it .. i do want to quit playing all together .. unreal. Have a great day
I don't understand why Blackmore didn't just play it like this in the first place. This itchy nacho dude can play it just fine and his guitar is missing its head
When you only grab the guitar to noodle the only bit of a sog you know for 30 sec. and then drop it but its been 15 years and you have got pretty good at it.
